Well their first lot of compensation lead to them flooding servers with millions of gold that they had to undo.
Because no where on steam does it say its an Open beta game and I payed full price to be a test subject who is giving away money for my service

Compensation will come later.
Yeah that’s one way to think about it, but kinda gets undone the moment you consider they quickly undid this and did a manual rollback. Even now their servers are up with no trade again till they can sort it out.
yeah but these mistakes keep happening over and over and over…and then they have to work on fixing those mistakes lol
At this rate, there won’t be new content for a long time because they will always be fixing bugs they create.

The best thing you can do is come to understand this or make the decision now to walk away like we have until the game is in a better state.
Should you choose to keep playing in the current state. The chances of burning out on New World for good is possible. Sometimes it’s better to take a step back and wait to see how it turns out.
Also we have alot of good games out at the moment and just comming up in the new year.

also, I just noticed, there’s a ton of chests in the world that cannot be looted. It’s like 1/8 chests I find. And they haven’t even fixed the visual glitch of item icons or the icon stacking on storage
Oh, I get it. Yeah I’m consciously playing knowing that. I’m trying to get craftings up and gathering. Not really doing any content out of that.
I quit my Life Staff, put it away in some bank, respec and now I’m on GA/Ham build. Much comfortable.
And I will await Lost Ark to play with all my buddies. They are super excited about it. I played the Beta and it was really good. Not the graphics of NW nor the open immersion but certainly amazing gameplay.
Expect the western release of Lost Ark is lead by John Smedley as the AGS leader. Considering the path of games in his wake, that doesn’t fill good ither.
I feared the same. But since it’s not a game they have to modify, and it’s already polished for a long time, they can’t fck it up much.
I also expected to find many bugs in the Beta, and while there were so game-breaking bugs, most got fixed fast. I didn’t encounter any tho. Well, aside from missing text or misspells or caption not matching the voice acting.
That is actually good to hear.

I mean…look at it this way, there was some pretty good memes after the whole 300k gold thing. Is that not compensation enough?
