BS. What major MMO releases final patch notes a week to 3 days out? AGS already released patch notes, they just arent final…same as most large MMO’s.
There is nothing wrong with delays.
Just communicate them in the official news already so these endless “winter event when?” “No patch?!” “ZOMG Y4URUINMYHOLIDAYRAWR” threads stop.
I have to say I agree with OP.
They communicated clearly about when the patch would arrive > great!
Then patch day came and we have basically radio silence > …?
In about an hour my company is organizing for a weekly event and I am half expecting the patch to drop right on our laps and blow up our event and fubar our invasion.
At the very least a go no-go update would be nice…
Patch notes usually change in a mltitude of games. My post was not solely about MMO-RPG, also RPG etc.
And the worst thing is no release/patch date. I have never seen this before! And I am gaming since 25 years lol…
I want my holiday content!!!

They did. They said when they had more information they would post it. They haven’t posted anything since then therefore they haven’t made a decision yet. This is communication, the fact that you don’t like the answer doesn’t mean they didn’t give an answer. Posts like yours are the reason they say so little. When they do say ANYTHING, if it changes people like you put them on blast.
In short you are the reason you don’t get the level of communication that would make you happy.

What are you talking about? They announced the “Into the Void” patch (1.1) on November 17th, and the patch went live on November 18th at 5 a.m… The fact that they haven’t posted the official announcement yet does not necessarily mean it’s going to be delayed. You are being a Karen.
