So what you are saying when you post something like the winter festival will start on the 14th what you are really saying is it wont start on the 14th because of things…
They never stop amazing me, in a bad way.
This reminds me of the “announce release”, “oh wait we are not releasing yet” game they played during 2021.
I am honestly starting to believe the whole point of the game is assessing customer behavior so Amazon can finetune their selling techniques.
I don’t see why else you would keep making promises and not keep them.
They made the mistake of listing the time on the PTR patch notes and then removed it.
So when the time came and all we had was 1 random post saying PTR is subject to change the forums lit up asking for some communication.
The Official communication we got is well. Lacking. But at least it’s something.
With all the server merges going on right now tossing out a big event patch right in the middle of that could very well be devastating to those about to be merged. All kinds of untested changes that were not part of previous merges.
I don’t really blame them for wanting to postpone, but the absolute lack of communication over the past two days about it is what bothers me.
Christmas will be over before they give us the Winter Convergence Festival if they don’t watch out…
Much like the Turkey thing… that happened AFTER turkey day.

I would rather a working Winter event than a broken Christmas event, especially if it means they don’t merge us during it and all our characters turn into duplicated Yeti’s

Pretty sure this is simply a game and not some real life crisis. I’m sure AGS is working hard.
NW did not say Dec 14th. Newworldfans dot com did, and everyone took that as gospel.

Chill out bro. They are probably working 24/7 on this and don’t actually know when its going to be ready. Its not done until they test it and it works. Then it gets rolled out.

. If they took this game seriously, they would have the professionalism to post a simple post. I’m convinced that this game is either run by students, or testing grounds for a game run by AI. Prove me wrong.
You weren’t impressed by the open world turkey boss using a copy pasted model, enlarged? Not impressed by the winter event still not being in the game half way through December? People are so hard to please…

It is a place for discussion, not hatred, nor harassment.
As a decent reply before i hand out the report on you:
You are right, no one promised any one anything, the event was announced the 14th.
And so everone would expect it to arrive the 14th.
Without that, you would assume as any developer would do was to give out the information on when it will release OR why it wasn’t.
Saying “There was no patch today” 24 hours afterwards is not information, that is just the opposite.
As regards to the insults, i am 29 years of age at this time of the reply.
In regards to your “answer” to this whole issue, nobody knows what happend.
You are saying they scheduled and missed the date, but we don’t know as they don’t come out with information.
Alot of people are withholding mats in prep for the patch, yet without information we are just filling our bags and our storage.
I don’t understand what that means.

I would say i got a pretty good grip on my life.
I got a 300k dollar appartment, i work enough hours aday to keep my apparantment going and bring food to the table and have enough money left for savings, gifts, hobbies and what not.
In regards to the last insults, methamphetamine is not good for your mind nor your body.
So i would recommend getting off that stuff right away, i can only assume as i have only heard such hillbilly insults from someone on heavy drugs.

Correct, it is an observation as you don’t seem to be able to reply in a decent manner on a forum.
One can only assume that something is messing with your mind that makes you come out and harass people out of nowhere.
It is not the mind of a sane person to do such acts.
Also again, makes absolutly zero sense, which further gives me an insight into how your brain works.
The only funny thing is that the update includes a Christmas Event and there are already only 9 days till christmas 
Imagine 23th dec: „Guys! Heres your Christmas Event! Enjoy it, its only there for 1 Day! Good Luck to grind your thousands of event tokens in this little time! Hehehe“
*of course i know it will be there for months maybe, just to catch people that dont get the joke

Its called corporate-speak. Basically just a long shitpost of meaningless words that all sound good as you’re reading them and then oops you finished and no information was passed.
