So, OPR is in a pretty dire place

All we are going to get is more PvE raids…there isn’t enough PvE content…not at all…so PvE players need more and grander PvE content with EVEN MORE OP gear…

Instill don’t understand how people don’t get that the lack of obstacles is the problem.

Musket isn’t a death laser in arena or duels. Just the map layout in opr suits it.

Don’t need to nerf a weapon just because they designed a map in a single game mode where it’s strengths can be fully utilised.

Just change the map. Simple fix.

More ruins around spawn and around mid, give melee a bit more cover.

I mean its doing too much damage since the patch even musket players can agree on that.

Ironic isn’t it.

GA lunge distance was nerfed because GA was too sticky and light users couldn’t escape auto swings.

Then here comes GS with insane lunge distance and light dodge role nerfed.

Makes sense.

Everyone is doing more dmg since the patch.

It isn’t exclusive to musket.

Muskets aren’t OP at all.

I play assassin and muskets are easier to kill than ever.

Dmg doesn’t need nerfing, just the map needs changing.

Muskets are already a meme, outside of OPR, Wars and invasions.

Game needs a new pvp mode preferably a zone on the map dedicated to non stop pvp.

I mean just look at the world drops for melee. Two BiS rings from Brimstone, strong mob dropped greatswords. Melee already had good jewellery drop from laz and gen anyway.

AGS has a huge bias towards melee players. They probably spend the most on skins =D

I like this new belief that mages are bad and melee is OP.

I’m almost done with my new mage arena set and you know people aren’t going to be gemmed to deal with it. :ok_hand:t3:

I don’t get this “mage is underpowered” dialogue.

But this is for a different topic

Situation when someone can dodge constantly and cant be touched are also unacceptable. Nerf for LA was deserved… we had a situations were 90% of OPR were light armors also bruisers because you had higher sustain than in any other armor… now its no longer a good choice because as melee you will not get out of those wave of hits bows, assasins, FS/IG/BB mage/battlemage or half mage like some people say… can keep diatance and stay safe, only problem is with Fire Staff lack of instant mobility skill and survive skill aka save my ass skill makes it really hard to play and must be adressed in future patches.

The issue was never light armor, the issue was rapier and dex speed boosts that made people unkillable. Light armor by itself had plenty of counters. The issue is they nerfed rapier riposte + speed buff and extra stam along with light armor. They should have done this separately to see the effect. Rapier first, then address if light armor needed adjustment after. Dex consistent speed buffs are still an issue though.

@Grape

New game mode would be fine but an even easier solution…… new opr maps  one that encourages close quarter fighting, or one that encourages multiple skirmishes etc.

All we have currently is a map that encourages snipers

I do agree a new map would be amazing. I wish they would utilize parts of the open-world map for OPR or 3v3. It would be the easiest copy-paste ever that would be perfectly acceptable.

12k bow hits say otherwise

If they nerf the stupid flamethrower. i don’t care.

easy. a minimum matchmaking system could do it. Max x gs per team. Max x bows per team. Max x muskets per team. Min x healers . Like a ‘role’. Once you queue in, thats the build you locked to , for the next game. Queue out, change your build, queue back in.
‘organized’ OPRs will feel better for everyone.

Yup, between adding a matchmaking system and changing how scoring works that would be pretty big.

You could fix scoring by doubling or tripling the score for capturing a point. On top of that add points for defending a captured point. While in combat and near a keep get points. Same thing for Offense as well. You think that would have already been in place in a king of the hill objective game.

scoring ideas are nice and can always be implemented

my opinion, however, is that they have to fix the max number of weapons per team. You dont wanna fight 15 muskets. Neither have them in your team.

Musket is fine, the issue is mortal empowerment.

I totally agree they need matchmaking. They need to have balanced 5 man teams. 2 melee 2 ranged and a healer. If you want to go outside of that you can create a custom group before queuing up.

Right now there is no pub team ive seen stick together. Mine as well not even be in a team.
