There are better outlets to spend your precious time, instead of arguing something that either you nor us have any impact on.
None of the things that people are going to purchase using MoF are going to impact you in the slightest. Why even bringing it up? Yeah, it couldâve been a bit much and quite surprising - especially coming off AGS - but in the end, it may signal they are more than willing to compensate people for future major bugs.
This whole moaning reminds me of some damn Karen, demanding fairness when you are not the one receiving compensation, though if the narrative has been different, youâd defend such compensation for days. And the worst is, the longer it goes on, the more of your character is seeping out, as per quote - >

I lost my top3 reward because another guild passed us in the last 2 days (when was supposed the leaderboard get closed already), so me and the guild must be compensated with 100k Tokens!!! because i will not have the opportunity again to get that top 1 rewardâŠ

I did lose my Top 3 unfortunately as well. Neither myself or my company mates were upset about it. A bit disappointed for sure, but hey, happens.
Iâm not even trying to break down your tirade there, though no offense - you act far worse than my 4 years old daughter. She wants various things, and as much I tend to avoid promising stuff, it is inevitable at times. And so if the promise isnât delivered (you know, life?) she has some sort of understanding and doesnât kick off making drama.

Its a video game but the time and the money invested here are real, if you pay for a service you have all the right to complaint about, its quality service for your invested moneyâŠ
There is no reason to give 50k tokens to some players⊠if they wanna give, gi e to everyone in the game. Just take the time and give the gear back to them like they are doing now. If was a question of them waiting 1 week to have the gear we all waited 1 week for the patch.
If you were to look up, we had that discussion before, two days ago with this other guy. It was civilised and we both walked away unoffended. I got in seeing notifications pilling up since then, and this meaningless continuation to the topic, with the Cherry being more and more tantrum - my statement relates to that.

As far as it goes you did pay for the game once. You do get the service, with varying and questionable quality to say the least - still, a lot to expect for $40 nonetheless. I wish we got to live in such world where we are all treated equally, but the reality is, this wonât ever happen.
Sure, it sucks we didnât get to see Top 3 and that the patch - along with the leader boards - got delayed. Though they didnât address that already, so no matter what we say now, it wonât change a thing. The end.

Iâm one of those affected and I would GLADLY give away the 50k marks ( which I have not yet received, neither my gear ) to play the game.
BIG update came in, with nice content and Iâm a tank. I love tanking and doing instances.
I have 3 sets : nature, corrupted and ancient. nature is completly gone, ancient I have 2 pieces and corrupted I have a helmet. I USED to have 4 swords, two of them had to grind for a eternity and they all gone. I grinded for quite a few shields and I have a crapy one now.
So the only thing I can do in the update is log in and see myself naked. Yay.
People are so entitled and usually only think about themselves. Reason why the world is as it is.

You probably need to ping someone for that to happen. I recommend @Luxendra IMO she is the most straight forward and dedicated. I feel for her (# of pings she must get,) but being the most competent usually brings the reward of extra work.
After reading the several posts on this topic, I understand your position completely. I quit playing 4 months ago due to something similar. I did log in to see what the season pass was and logged off within 10 mins. I quit playing because the 1st house discount wasnât fairly applied First house discount update - #8 by chichagof It didnât affect me. It mainly affected new players who had saved to buy their first house, but they were mistreated badly. Coupled with the compensation for the bugged tool/bag crafting being a legendary for every craft, I had enough. Responsible players know to go slow with a fresh patch and to be careful, not craft their entire net worth asapâŠunless they are planning to be affected by the bug and get compensation.
It is well known that dying before a server restart gives a duping chance. I am not saying these guys died on purpose; just that this method is something players try in many games and if it doesnât work then what do they lose. The whining about not being able to play just doesnât pass any test. Those affected must not have wanted to play too badly if this locked them. You could easily have a friend come to you with cheap bags and then quickly outfit yourself by doing a chest run or from the TP (not BISâŠso I know the e-peen will be harmed) and still play the game. I never min/maxed and played fine. I played with what I found and when it broke I just threw something else on. I understand competitive pvpâing/M10âs would give a different experience, but you could still play and the gear was only gone a day or so.
The crafting bug really concerns me. I am afraid they will give everybody legendary replacements as they did earlier. This bug, just like the tools/bags, was found on the PTR and never corrected. I guarantee you that the greediest among us use the PTR for this type stuff. For them it is a place to test for bugs beneficial to them. Once found the bug is not reported and becomes a closely guarded clan/personal secret On live, they then rush to craft as much as possible knowing they have a fail safe with the bug. If they get a legendary, great! But, if they donât; then begins the whining for compensation. What is there to lose; with compensation they may get guaranteed legendary items; at the least they get refunded matsâŠa gamble these gamblers will take.
The protesters in this post have every right to protest. This doesnât make them jealous. From the way I read it, many of them just feel that they are not appreciated; feeling that their concerns are not even being considered. They have a valid argument. I am pretty sure all of us have had an issue with the game that negatively affected play.
Here are just a few I have experienced;
- Tier 5 camp bugged for over a year (many players experienced this.) We couldnât craft in open world. The main disadvantage was not being able to craft Topaz gypsum potion (this slowed progression unfairly.)
- Waking up in ES dead and when I tpâed back to city I kept falling through the world. I shut the game down several times and tried again=same effect. This did affect gameplay. You just couldnât put on new clothes and get out of the loop.
- The numerous trading post shut downs because players were duping/TP bugged. I play solo, with no faction, no houses, etc; basically kind of ironman. I make my gold on the TP. I almost always had 100 orders up. Those listings were expensive. I lost a fair amount of gold and also didnât get to fully play âmyâ game; sometimes for weeks.
- When the whiners cried enough that AGS locked the trading post preventing listing from full storages. I had a storage go way over as a direct result. While trying to drop and move stuff to free the storage, I canât tell you how much gold was lost when the items fell through the floor.
- Heck, during the last Turkey event my skinning knife vanished and has never returned
- The numerous crafting bugs and shut downs
- While running from BW to WF, just outside the elite zone, to turn in a quest the borderwall magically appeared. I got stuck in it and was instantly killed. The game initially wouldnât allow a respawn.
- How about the bad bans. A lot of us have experienced this. Mine was during the 2x event. I tried to appeal only be informed that I would remain banned in Lost Ark. A very competent AGS employee stepped up and got my account back for me. I have never cheated, been warned, or been banned in any video game. I was seriously offended by the ban. While I was grateful to the employee who helped, the taste was still bad. This resulted in me quitting the first time.
The list goes on and onâŠhow about the âhidden stashâ being bugged. Lower level expertise players are disproportionally affected.
This may all seem petty, but value rests with those that experienced the issue. When these other posters say they donât feel their issues and/or allegiance to the game is respected, they have a valid reason. It seems planned bad behavior is getting rewarded, even if only 50% of those affected are truly bad actors. We have all been the victim of game breaking bugs/decisions in this game. We lived and moved on. IMO, the crafting compensation for tools/bags was far worse than the $50 for a $20 game that prompted OP to post. For a crafting bug, I would only allow a person to take advantage of it one time and then for no more than 3-4 itemsâŠbecause by then you should know there is a bug. For a bug such as spawning naked, where there is no real lossâŠcome on!!!
Instead of creating value, these irrational decisions only serve to devalue and alienate many of the most dedicated players.

I dont agree with you like you are saying people were doing most of this stuff on purpose like for example i havent even used PTR before maybe once to try barnacle dungeon a while back when it was about to come out i had blue bags which i specifically crafted when you couldnt even craft purple bags at that time when i came back to the game recently havent been on for a while i still had these blue bags and i saw that they are adding scarabs in bags craft which i saw as opportunity to get perfect bags crafted with both luck/pockets why would i craft something and risk not getting the perfect one when i can wait for the patch to come out and bring this feature i bet most of the people waited for it and people that did report this bug on PTR even tho it was reported it was apparently never fixed cause whenever you would go to crafting menu the gearscore was showing incorrect value which was 595-600 but you were getting crafts that were below 595 so 590-594 in most cases and you are saying that people are doing it on purpose probably yeah somebody might have done it on purpose but people that havent done it they shouldnt be punished for something that wasnt their fault like if this was other way around and people were getting infinite legendary crafts then sure punish them or w/e but spending a gold cap on something and not being aware of bug even existing is just their fault for not announcing and this problem could of have been fixed easily just by rollbacking the server as the update happened it was not even a full day and now its too late to do so.

They banned quite a lot of bots and gave a lot of bans for more than just dupesâŠ
Besides deserved bans - never forget about reports spam which lead to at least a bunch of unjust bans 
Iâve said the only permanent bans were for dupes.
We all know how mass-report got abused and how still some people get unfair bans because of this system.
Also this system is giving automatic bans!
But its true that they did massive bots ban before new patch. I can barely see any bots around.

prior to battle pass release, a 50k token compensation COULD probably be fine, but now it has gained quite a bit of value. â I DID NOT DECIDE THIS â its AGSâ decision to make it a premium currency and launching a BIG new feature which is BATTLE PASS

the integrity of a videogame is what drives you to keep investing time in it, if its fairness is compromised in any shape or form (doesnt have to be only character-power related) it becomes less worthy of spending time in, cause you know some people got those stuff for free.

Some cringers were crying here " WE HAVE NO IDEA WHEN WEâLL GET OUR STUFF BACK WE DESERVE THIS, CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT THIS FEELS LIKE???" and the problem got fixed the next day. Not really, it is just some in game stuff they can buy and as discussed at length in other threads it gives no significant advantage and is definitely not P2W.
Not really sure why you are so upset about someone else being compensated for inconvenience caused by an update to the game. How does this effect you so much that you need to complain so vigorously?
