problem is not that they are being compensated, but that the compensation is extremely exaggarated

They get 50 quid because AGS is impressively terrible at coding. I am seriously impressed at how bad they are. Removing gear when a player is deadā¦ canāt even begin to understand how fkd up their codebase must be. They should be compensating everyone, itās a miracle they still have players, why donāt they compensate you all? Who knowsā¦ AGS is just on another level.

First of all, the decision is not yours to make. Content? Skins, battle pass, gear sets and a bunch of boosters. Sure, it may seem appealing to be spending $50 in-game, though it has no meaning, really. At least not to me. We can all get plenty of these with free battle pass and via twitch drops.
Though seeing the price of gold, people loosing their entire EQ that might be worth anywhere between 200K to 1m upwards - for the reference, $4 gets you 40K gold, as far as I can see.
We have no certainty that people who have lost their EQ will get it back for sure, and if so when that will happen.
And, to be frank with you, this discussion revolves around people being upset, because someone gets so much currency and they donāt. Because maybe they would not spend that amount of money in-game, but seeing the amount being compensated, they just feel butthurt.

They could buy 2 x season passes with it I guess but give that season passes occupy 3 month cycles , your looking at a gift of 0.27 euro a day for 6 monthsā¦ā¦

some ppl get excessive amount of PREMIUM CURRENCY, others dont
the solution that is suggested is not an unbelievebly outrageous thing, a big amount of Season exp to compensate for the missing days

actually imo they just cornered you with the euro a day remark. its completely reasonable to get 50k marks for this.
or legendary mats to compansate missing ability to craft it, both exp and mats
all good as long as every player can get it
giving away 50 euro is not fair, if they would lost their gear forever then ok, i guess itās fair

The reality is those poor folks probably wonāt be able to play the game for a monthā¦ Look at how long itās taken Ags to restore items or do a āmake good packageā in the past. Itās usually weeks or monthsā¦ Remember the bag crafting problem during brimstone? Lol
