There are random internet dudes that have knowledge about the AWS snapshots and restore times for servers. Rolling back a server takes 15 minutes tops in that infrastructure.
And they have full control over the live infrastructure so they can perform those actions on the live server.

What do you mean compensation? This is not really competition eu vs na. Each server is their own world and you play with and against those guys.
And for sure we shoulnt be compensated at all. Our price is that they were able to fix it and no other than eu was affected by this. It can be a bit unfair but it happens. 
Devs are probably been working like 12+ hours from the launch to try fix the issues. Give the some slack.

EU had a bad day. Hopefully this causes their fickle player base to quit and the true MMO fans to stick it out.
I love EU, I’m bummed they had to go through this. But compensation is not nearly as high a priority as working on the game itself so we can all log into full, stable servers and a game that works.

Best compensation for everyone that AGS can provide: Listen to the constructive criticism of the community and don’t try anything funny in the future (i.e. rollout without proper functional testing)
As has been said before, they couldn’t revert the money because people immediately went and bought out the TP which would have screwed over the entire economy if they let it stand. So the rollback was not for no reason (it was for a very good reason). Honestly they should have been using rollbacks much more during these issues instead of trying to just give people money or other compensation.
Exactly, do not give players in game coin, that’s like a country printing more money, I don’t see why people don’t understand the basics of hyperinflation. Give them store credit or unique pets for being around at this time that will be cool to future players or other non tradable items, in game chests with watermark bonus’ for lv 60s containing BOP gear, dungeon keys…anything but physically printing more gold.

You’re like the nightmare of any support worker, acting up, screaming (aka capslock), literally trying to make the support worker feel bad about others faults etc.
And then you’re posting the logs in here proudly, still thinking your entitlement is rightful.
You played this game 800 hours. With a price for the basic version of 40 bucks, this makes for 5 cent per hour.
Yes there been alot of issues and so on, so maybe you only had fun in the game for 50% of the time, and this is a very low estimate, given you stuck to the game for such an amount of time within so few months of it being released. That’d make it 10 cent per hour of fun.
Now, in a time where everyone is looking at the balance of costs compared to fun, what else can you do, that costs you 10 or even just 5 cents per hour, to have fun? So much fun actually, that you are no-lifing that one thing like only a few are actually able to?
And you demand a refund?
And you demand that someone “higher” talks to you, even tho you’ve paid the exact same amount as everyone else?
