Following my previous post and runs, decided to give it a go with the changes of S1.
Wasn’t expecting to do better but after some attempts got a new best time with more than 2 minutes improvement, enjoy.

Thanks. This was fun to watch. My regular group still struggles to complete Genesis on normal with our 5-person group, so this should be fun to share with them! That middle boss is our bane! But we finally beat him after about 15 tries yesterday.

but i also want to say,
if u can solo the levitan in SM mine , u could solo gene with some practice.
if u familiar with levitan’s move, u can avoid all his attack by dodging.
i soloed levitan with just a spear back in dec 2022 to farm the timekeeper’s hand, which was considered bis sword back then.
the 1st boss taxodius is just a weaker version of levitan, without summon pull, rolling ball, and additional random effect like slim/ray/explo

Caretaker is the hardest part imo and can deff be a pain, some RNG involved with all the mobs it spawns during the fight. I’ve spent ~2h inside on 1st run to test equipment, weapons and overall changes and more than half that time was on Caretaker. Gj on not giving up and clearing him!
For sure, a good amount of mobs/bosses attack patterns on expdts, especially old ones, are recycled from open world ones. Just on Genesis u have 3 named that use Levi/Diablos attack patterns.
I’ll go as far as saying that with enough practice and knowledge is possible to solo clear every expdt in regular, with the exception of the ones where progression is locked behind group mechanics like Laz, Ennead, Forge…

ye, i could see the adds been the biggest threat there, but gs/ga will be really good there.
ye for laz, the snake boss might be channeling, but sadly we dont have similar mob in open world.
