Dear New World Devs!
I have been playing the game since launch, I have tried being in a guild and even managed one myself. However I have never been able to shake the feeling that the game strongly restricts a player to rely on team play at the best moments of the game.
Personally I have moved closer toward a solo playstyle as I just cannot keep up with the pace most players are used to. Sometimes I am lucky enough to encounter huge groups exploring the dangerous open world areas, but even still they prove challenging. With increased difficulty on higher tiers expeditions, the success turn out is very low, which makes it harder to farm azoth to upgrade gear, inevitably getting very few rewards after a long queue time. Even if a player wielded both a staff and dps weapon such as a rapier, they still wouldn’t be able to deal a large enough damage to fend for themselves because of how the attributes are assigned.
I wish there were choices in expeditions and other areas for a solo option, and hopefully improve the rate at which I can upgrade gear and level my crafting stations. Even after playing this game for so long, I have still not reached the optimum build for expeditions, being far from it. Otherwise hopefully this new game mode could introduce the same features to other players who also don’t have much time in a day!
