I’ll refrain from saying unhelpful stuff like “This is a MMO, go play a singleplayer” because that’s pure BS (pardon my French). I personally love running dungeons, but due to how the quests are implemented most of the time I have to play solo.
As in, even if I team up with other players, we don’t get to share the quests or credit for killed enemies, looted items, etc. Furthermore, a number of quests are plain badly designed - requiring you to not only kill a unique named mob, but also skin it so that you receive a quest item. That’s just wrong; this quest item should be a regular drop that is present if you have the quest.
So I understand your frustration that the game forces you into content that you find unappealing. I found faction PVE missions and townboard missions a viable alternative, though they don’t give nearly enough XPs to make it even a remotely productive pastime.
. So now I play as a healer in this game and yes i realise others look at me with the same scepticism
