I’d like to add my voice, please enable EAC support. From what I understand, it’s a simple opt in feature, and it’d really just make my life easier.
Not to mention, with the upcoming release of the Steamdeck, you’ll want to have EAC-thru-Linux support.

LITERALLY, Only enable the option for EAC linux. Proton and steam will take care of the rest…

Throwing in my support here as well. Would love to see the switch flipped. Throw a disclaimer up if you must, but I think the Windows-only support on Steam is clear enough (and expected from Linux users at this time).

+1 It works as far as connecting to server after clicking play on char select page. Come on Amazon, it’s a checkbox in the sdk.

+1, i’d like to be able to play on my laptop when i travel, but it runs linux. This is a quote from epic games blog post on how to enable it:
Starting with the latest SDK release, developers can activate anti-cheat support for Linux via Wine or Proton with just a few clicks in the Epic Online Services Developer Portal.
