Indeed. It is unfair. But that is the necessary evil of making this game better. I’d rather it be a little unfair or a lot unfair for a select few now and have a good game in the long run.
I feel bad for anybody who is either a fresh level 60, or still leveling.
With that said I absolutely enjoy the challenge they are trying to add into the game. There is a lot of fine tuning to be done, and they need to come up with a better solution to stopping zerging the only currently available content other than just making everything stupid tanky.
Expeditions seem to be a lot more fun.
I like the direction they want to head, but I am a bit afraid of how many "oops’ moments and insane balancing (both pve/pvp) that we will need to go through to see it be good.
Time consuming =/= challenging.
Would you say the same if AGS said they were going to restart everyone at level 1 on the beach?
Unless every player is limited to specific hours of play that everyone can participate in, someone will always have an advantage.
People appreciate when enjoyable content and systems are challenging. People are resentful when dull senseless content and systems are challenging.

Me personally, yep. Too many things were broken and gave players unfair advantages early. I would love leveling with the new pvp incentives too. That’s off topic though, but hell ye make it happen 
Go for it, honestly many of us support trying the FF14 angle of just reworking the whole thing.
Maybe without gamebreaking exploits, this time.
One good possibility, imo, is to scale elites based on number of characters within some radius. This disadvantages mindless “zerg” groups and Rewards players doing a skilled cohesive 5-man. however it lends to “griefing” by people hanging around trying to leech. Perhaps even better is only drops for the 1 team who provides the most dmg. Many of the things people zerg are actually much harder that way, as there is no cohesion, its especially annoying as a healer when they expect you to heal them as they all run solo, don’t dodge, play smart, use pots, and then healers get no loot because they don’t do damage. Especially if you’re the nice guy who hangs around reviving and making sure everyone gets out of the area alive while others loot the box, pull in mobs and run off leaving people to die. We just need more punishment for playing stupid and reward people for proper multiplayer skilled play.
Things is this last stinker or a patch killed the populations…you sure as hell will have a challenge when they need to close the game down cause there not enough people playing as they all left.

New World devs balancing weapon skills:
“Yea we going to raise this skill by 1% because it needs a buff but we need to be careful”
New World devs mob balance:
“Yea mobs are too easy to kill, lets give them 20 times as much exp, they will love that”
Big group of people in Myrgard, managed to tank the overly buffed flame sword guy in a fight that killed 30people+ around me at least 3-4 times.
I got an infused mana potion out of it.
It cost me 76coin to repair after the fight.
Yep, love a good challenge too, especially when I lose a lot more than I gain. Just love it.
I bet some of the people that died 3 or 4 times got zilch nada! Except for a hefty repair bill ofc!!! Gotta love it!!!

Two months in and they still refuse to deal with weaponized reports.
It’s the ignorance to these kinds of issues that will keep press flagrantly negative and their game floundering in ankle-high water.
I don’t know, lol. I got 15k hp and I died once cause there was nobody around to rez my healer fast enough. It hits for 7k and the heavy attack is a 14k-ish if not more.
