I want to take a moment to appreciate the hard work AGS are doing.
I’ve seen so much negatively in the forums and whilst I have my gripes, I’m very much enjoying the game.
MMO games are the most complex of games to create. This launch has had it’s fair share of issues, but I can tell a lot of work is happening behind the scenes. I’ve seen a huge difference over the past week. Is there still work to be done? Ofcourse. But that’s expected.
You all keep referring to Amazon and a trillion dollar company but you need to remember that just because AGS is amazon, they still have a budget.
For every shit comment about how crap you think they are doing, that’s someone you are making feel shit as its their job. Unfortunately things dont always go right, but it’s about how people go about fixing it.
So rather than negativity, I just wanted to say great job. I’m having a blast, keep going. Build onto the great foundations of this game and props to whoever did the sound and world design. Imo both fantastic.
The main reason you see lots of negative feedback, is because all the players who enjoy the game are playing it, while the people who dont come here to complain.
Yup, completely agree. Congratulations to all who have made this game what it is (and what it can be, hopefully).
I look forward to things settling down and seeing the additions and fixes as the game goes forward.

PS. One plea to the developers… Please, don’t go to far down the road of “easy mode” and “quality of life” at the expense of challenging effort and thought. Games like wow, gw2 and ESO did this and it became to much for me.
I think the game is great from what I’ve experienced! Then again, I’m not just trying to grind out max level like I do in wow because I know there’s probably not much to do at this point. Been raising my different crafts which I normally hate to do, but for some reason I enjoy it in this game. I tackle some town board quests, faction quests, but don’t try to grind out player exp to get high level.
With that said, I can imagine I would be bored if I just focused on getting 60 and just grinded the same dungeons over and over and then hit 60 and had nothing to do.
I am a huge fan of the game. Love almost every aspect of it, the launch has been pretty smooth compared to other MMOs and that place a role in my positive feeling towards the game.
There is just so much to do.
If you don’t feel like questing you can turn on some music and go out relax and do some gathering.
Don’t want to quest or gather and want some chaos go run an invasion train.
All three of those out of the question for the day turn on PVP and get in a group and go hack the other faction.
