Some QoL things

  • Equipment loadouts:

    • Just makes it much more easier and less of a hassle to switch between sets depending on enemies type.
  • Inventory/loot filter:

    • I know it’s probably unlikely to filter loot before it goes into your inventory when you picked/get them but probably implement some filters in the inventory, especially in regards to gears.
    • Also, being able to minimize the sections(?) in the inventory would be nice too. I don’t want to see all craft mods, resources, gears, etc. Would be quite nice to minimize them and only see them when I want to.
  • Dungeons/Expeditions Recommended Gear Score

    • Pretty self-explanatory but as a new player, it would be quite helpful to see what’s the recommended gear score for each dungeon is so that I don’t go in under-geared/unprepared.
  • Add Dungeons/Expeditions section into the menu/screen

    • New player here and it seems to me that whenever you’re trying to join a dungeon, you’d have to go into maps and find that dungeon and THEN will you be able to see the groups/parties for it. It’s quite a hassle and honestly I think they should all be incorporated into 1 single menu from which you can press the key/button for it and it pops up with the many dungeons you unlocked. This makes it much more easier and faster to pick/join the dungeon you’re looking for.
  • Groups/Parties Menu

    • To add on to the above, maybe a centralized (?) Group Finder menu which can be opened with a single key/button would make it much more easier/faster for everyone to use. Players can create groups on there WITH the descriptions of what they’re doing as the title and other players can join just like what we have with dungeons but on a much broader scale instead of dungeons only.
    • For example, if someone wants to create a boss/elite farming group, they can just open the menu up and create the group. No need to constantly flood chat and if someone wants to check on what’s going on at the moment, they can just open the menu and see what people are doing. Boss farm, elite chest runs, dungeons, etc. will be shown there and if they’re interested in something, they can request access to join or message the person who created that group on the menu.
    • In case someone is wondering what I’m referring to, checkout Silkroad Online’s party system. It’s an old game but having their party system or something similar to that just makes it much more easier for everyone to play together.

Sorry for the long post but these are just somethings I find would be quite helpful, whether you’re new or a veteran of the game, to have. Especially in regards to the Group system being broad instead of only for dungeons.

I haven’t got to that point yet, with me being new and all, but yes I would agree with that as well. These things aren’t made to be interesting or difficult, just more tedious. And tedious things usually isn’t fun to do.

According to AGS some QoL for equipment loadouts is on its way.
This was mentioned several times over last half year.

Seems its not highest priority though, thus it might take still a while.

I would really appreciate a inventory filter. I clean up my inventory of items I consider trash quite a lot. All these woodlouse baits, meats, flints, which clog the inventory.

Slightly advanced, but very, very, very usefull would be a programmable inventory sorter. I programm which items/item classes are stored at which city/outpost. As soon as I am at a storage shed wherever, I just click at one button and everything gets sorted automatically from my inventory to the respective destinations.

Yeah, that would be quite useful. Played quite a few games with the store all thing and it was very nice to be able to store all of the item, sorted by the way automatically, into the bank.
I mean we can also do that here, manually, but it doesn’t look/seem that complicated to add.

Another thing that I think would be quite nice, and not difficult, would also be to able to name the storages too. That way, even if there is no automatic storing and sorting, we would still be able to see quickly which storage stores what so we could just Store All into that storage of whatever items we designated that storage for.

And I know it’s not that hard to remember what each storage is for in the current state of the game but that’s what QoL things is all about. Especially in regards to things you’re going to be doing for a long time.

Having these QoL just makes the game much more enjoyable when you’re not always sorting, salvaging, and seeing which items is worth or not after every run of whatever you’re doing in-game.

Another thing I think would be quite nice/useful would be a Salvage All type of thing. Like salvage all normal, uncommon, rare or epic would be very nice in inventory management.

I would 100% use the group finder more often, if I could just see a list of all the dungeons and click down them to see who’s running what and what’s needed where. Rather than click all of them then go down every mutation channel etc just to see if there’s rooms.

Maybe even add a counter to how many lobbies are at each dungeon

Yes, I feel that more people would use it too if it were more convenient. Especially in the case of dungeons as you said. I find it quite annoying/hassle to have to Open map → Find dungeon on map → Find group in order to even see whether people are creating lobbies for that dungeon or not. And that’s just for one of the difficulty just like you said.

The dungeons/expeditions not even having their own menu/key/button is quite surprising to me as a new player really.
