Someone explain this pls?

Players will need to complete the regular expedition first to unlock the mutator codex, then they are free to play as often as possible on that expedition for 48 hours until the next one appears. They then will have to repeat unlocking the codex for the next expedition. After the player has all codex, they wont have to play the regular level again.

What does he/she mean here? Does this mean we can finish the dungeon multiple times over 48 hours with just one orb?

Sounds like you need to play the normal version to unlock the mutated one? So if there is 10 mutated version of Gen you need to do 10 normal runs every time the mutated cycle cycles?

It sounds bad. People have been accumulating orbs for a long time. If it’s like this, it doesn’t make any sense.

I agree. A lot of this patch doesn’t make sense… Esp a power creep so soon after release and adding a different way to do it. A lot of these changes feel like knee jerk reactions to something they know nothing about…

  • Mutator Orbs are universal. Players can craft 1 per week and will be able to purchase additional orbs in the Faction Shop.

It’s a way to make people need more orbs in order to do the new content that people actually want to do that way they spend money out of the shop to be able to do this easier.

How is spending money on cosmetics going to help?

You didn’t understand what I meant. What about the Lazarus and Genesis orbs we collect? They will no longer be as valuable as before.

Never said it was going to help anything. My point is that the vast majority of people simply cannot wait to get something they want. The cost of something they want is outweighed by their “need” to have it. So, if people can spend money to get more orbs rather than spend time or in-game coin to craft one themselves, they will do it. Then people will be able to run the dungeon repeatedly based on how much money they are willing to spend on it.

My apologies, I did not understand. However, my take on this is that you need one orb to run the normal dungeon first. This unlocks the ability to run the current week’s mutator dungeon. Then you need a mutator orb for each run of the mutated dungeon. You only need to run the normal dungeon once that week. This repeats each week until you have unlocked each version of the mutated dungeon. After you have unlocked each mutated version, then you no longer have to run the regular version of the dungeon in order to run the week’s mutated version. However, you will still need a mutator orb each time you run a mutated dungeon.

Hmmm now I understand u. I hope it happens this way. I’m downloading PTR right now. We’ll see how it goes together.
