ALSO: do yourself a huge favor and remove your email address from this “anyone can see it” post.
how is steam suppose to help him they cant read game logs and tell you if your ip has been accessed from somewhere else also steam has never been in charge of anything but a portal for your accout if money is missing in game then yes this a ags problem which they will ignore like they did jarl tyrl who was hacked had all his stuff removed dropped to a new server and they wouldnt even move his naked char back to his orginal server they told him there was no way to prove he didnt do it. Ya cause he gave all his stuff away and transfered to a new server only to start a new char and give up on his already 620+ char they wont check game logs or to see if ips are accessed from other areas so yoru screwed them saying message steam is your proof sice steam can never do anything in game wise for anyone
Steam is the only ones who can help him - because his steam password is the one that got compromised. What, AGS is just supposed to take his word that he was hacked and give him 26k in gold?

its not hard to check to see if a ip was accessed from somewhere else almost every other game dose this when people say they are hacked which is simple way of proving or not if someones been hacked no game support for people hacked in the game is lame yes ags can check data logs ip address and do much much more its the power they have yes he will have to change his steam password but was still this game hacked so game logs data logs and ip address isnt hard to do for most games and show support for there players its that simple saying steam can fix it just is not possible
They will not return it and will not give you a token to transfert back. We had similar topics - there is nothing they can do ( or they don’t wanna or don’t have the tools whatever fits best idk)
Well, AGS ist able to see logs of all the actions his account did inside the game. So they can check, if he said the truth
mine steam and my mails its not hacked some of the things are still there so I dont know what happen all I want to do its go back to mine server and I need help wth it, do anyone know how to do it a while ago you could buy a token but not at present.

I was playing with Hankaa in one guild on the server Karkar-> Bran. Although the topic is described, I have additional questions and thoughts about the whole situation.
Is it currently possible (or were there such cases) to lose an account to an undesirable person WITHOUT breaking into an e-mail or steam account?
Is it possible without the use of illegal software (e.g. bots), but by means of e.g. linking to a Twitch account?
In the current situation, Hankaa is sufferer, because he has lost the contents of his account while maintaining access to e-mail and steam at all times (his account required additional verification with a token in both places). After an unwanted migration, he did not lose all items, but only valuable items from his backpack, warehouses, e.g. gold or orichalcum. It is interesting that the trophies in the house are intact - they are quite valuable. Maybe it’s someone’s rush, or maybe it’s a bot that does things machine-based?
Anyway, it would be nice to solve this problem, if only to develop some sort of process for solving this type of case.

I assure you this will not get solved. AGS has no possible way of verifying the account was hacked. For all they know, you switched servers, transfered all your items to an alt account, then came trying to get free stuff.

No, this game wasn’t hacked - his Steam account was. Once that was done, AGS sees an authorized login from what looks like a perfectly valid steam account. It sucks, to be sure, but no - New World isn’t the problem - his Steam account being compromised is.
yes his steam account was hacked we get that however new world sells there game through there portal and game support is provided by games not steam I have done moderation for games and yes, you can validate if there ip has been signed into from the same location check activity and do much much more there choosing not to even more so when reported right away
If you had done game moderation, you would surely know that checking IP address accomplishes nothing at all.
Just yesterday I logged in from both Miami, FL and Montréal, CA.

shows you a general idea and most wont delete all there items and give there cash away and move to a new server there is also common sense you would look to see where ip`s were logged if things made sense if it was the regular or not and ussaly the company would be there for the customer even yes rockstar which runs threw steam portal to but offers support in case where your account is hacked its not rocket science here bud also yes you may be all over the place but most arnt while playing video games and if there just asking to be put back where they were as such in the case of the person here i cant see why you wouldnt think they were hacked. Ok fine dont give them there gold back but they only asked to be put back where they came from which in all common sense would make sense to do for them but customer service is not something you understand i guess…
Dude it shows you have no clue what you are talking about but even IF they can see all that stuff. They still can decide to not refund any stuff.

of course they can see all that stuff its data logs in the game everything you say and do in games online is 100% recorded in data logs just that simple

And the answer was no, sorry. if you wanna play on Bran again and if it’s not locked you have to create a new character or wait till one day tokens will be available again
You can say whatever you want i suppose, but at the end of the day, this has all been previously covered on the forums, and the devs have already confirmed it is beyond their control.
Moving the character back to the previous world, sure that’s perfectly feasible - but let’s consider the precedent that would set :
Any time somebody uses a transfer token, and doesn’t like the server they merged to would need only come on forum and demand to be returned to their previous server because they were “hacked”.

While I understand that your account has been hacked and you lost a lot of materials and were transferred to another server, unfortunately, I can not promise you any compensation for this, we are not able to transfer you to your former server neither restore your items.
