Me and my 2 teammates legit cannot get a match as a group on Valhalla ( one of if not the biggest servers in the game) we have had to resort to having 2 people duo q and one single Q to get in the same lobby (maybe).
I know that’s frustrating, but everyone used to just 3 stack and stomp people in arena. The only groups playing were the ones playing just because they wanted the advantage.
The moment they changed it to where a 3man only matched against other 3mans everyone stopped playing because most people felt like they couldn’t win a fair fight.
Not that the duo que is any better. Duo que with a healer just dumps on people so it isn’t really any better.
Arenas are in a rough spot unless they add real rewards and a good ranking system you arnt gonna see premade 3s happening.
At this point I wouldn’t care if they reverted the changes. I love playing arena but it has gotten stale. All RNG of what trash you get on your team or LS Vs no LS.
while I have no problem beating a team with a LS it’s hard if you get the RNG newbs on your team.
AGS needs to spend more effort and time on improving matchmaking. Hopefully this is the focus with cross world opr.

One would think with how many people obviously always loved Firestaff 3s would never have been a problem to que up since that is where Firestaff dominates. Interesting how its always been an issue to get 3s to pop in a quick manner.
I’m glad that there are more such topics, please do something to get people interested in going to the arenas in ready-made groups
TBH I’m SHOCKED at how this isn’t a more discussed issue. Just goes to show you how badly managed arenas are and people just stopped caring
yah its ridonculous how neglected it is. It is easy to have more people to que for arenas.
Solution:
- 3 man premades que
- Solo que only
- Healer or No Healer que
- RANKED arenas (this will prob happen in few years -___-)
- Revamp 3s rewards (e.g. 15 umbrals, gold, azoth, 1 arenas cache that gives 1 or 2 pieces of gear)
- Add 3s leaderboard top 10 and top 50 armor skin
people are already used to the fact that the premade arena is dead and there is no motivation to go there, it is strange to me to see that the developers do not see this and simply leave everything as it is

Its so odd that theyre choosing to release a new arena map instead of an OPR map. Maybe its a 1v1 dueling map. Makes no sense otherwise.
Think about the size and detail of an outdoor OPR map vs the size of an indoor arena map. Its a lot faster, easier, cheaper for them to make an arena map than it is to make an OPR map. NW is interested in making quick/cheap content so they can put more manpower into stuff they can sell for extra.
It’s not that as a pre-made you’re afraid (i dont know mabe some are), but you just end up fighting the same guys over and over
Oh, it obviously is faster but again if no one is queing. War accessibility and open world pvp would drive some player return. Seems lior thry krrp adding things to the game that dont move the needle.
Personally I think arena Q should be solo or 3 stack. If you are a 2 man just go into global and recruit a third it’s not that big a deal. But not being able to fully play arena at its optimum capabilities which is a 3v3 is a joke
i said 3’s will never pop as soon as they said they where separating team vs solo que. i was correct lmao. they “nerf” the game for the casual streamer crowd-that quit 2 weeks later. sick of it.
They just need to make 1v1’s imo. It’s getting old at this point
Ppl stop playing it couse they no longer had adventage. Now only way they can ahve one is duo with healer on solo q. And thats what we see.
Reality is that most of this top pvpers have ego size of NYC so they dont want to lose. And they will take any adventage the ycan get over other players to win. So yea they 3vs3 paremade was dead same day it was separated from solo q.
