Ori isnt high because of bots, you dont even know why youre complaining i guess lol. Also ori prices should be high because you need them for asmo which is the most valuable material in the game. Are you going to complain because asmo prices are 500+ too?
They used to do this on an ultima online server I played on. Immediately resolved the issues, prices balanced back to healthy points, everyone was making money, and this was on a game that had NPC’s still!
AFK script will solve all the issues. It’s quick, will only affect players who have been reported, and makes everyone happy.
If its still an issue or there’s work arounds, then start doing IP bans, work on adding repetitive coordinates etc. Plenty of options but SOMETHING should be started.
Most of the damage is already done, the experience will only get better to new players that never experienced it before
I’ve been playing since day one, have over 1000 hours, and have still be fighting this and looking forward to a solution. It will affect quite a bit of players gameplay regardless of level. Imagine a new player trying to get ori veins on my server? They’ll give up! Then since they didn’t get to gain xp like most of us did, will start something else and realize it’s an impossible grind.
While I’m bitching here, I’m still having things I can do, to keep busy and enjoy myself. There’s plenty to do, but this is a BIG problem and needs to be beaten to death until fixed.
Imagine if you have invested this effort in something that really would impact your life…

This is a problem, and if dev’s didn’t care, they wouldn’t have applied 400 hotfixes and patches to the game in the first 90 days.

i used to be staff in a pretty big game the ADMs was selling gold/items for EU so its deff a possibilty here
In 5 mins were I was waiting to farm a small area of trees, I had 3 bots run to the empty nodes an run off. Two of them killed level 50 gators with ease so they can combat mobs no problem. 3 Bots in 5 mins , I just logged out for day.
My world was merged with 5 other dead servers so Imagine 6 servers full of bots put into 1. That’s what server merges did.

ya i dont even farm around everfall anymore on me server 2 bots have been collecting the nodes their for weeks still not banned and they legit farm it 24/7

Update. Still there running same lines. a couple of us tried but can’t block with tents cuz of auto traverse. Mind you these bots are gaining so much experience. They’re level fk’n 60. That’s how long they’re running. Insane.
After weeks and weeks of dealing with these issues and them getting worse, I guess I’ll go another day without playing since amazon can’t fix a simple problem. Will continue to update how long this guy is here. Might be time to start looking into other games until AGS has enough experience in a couple years fixing basic issues that kill games.
At this point they should just allow unattended macroing since they can’t do anything about it despite the multiple suggestions from the player base that would not be difficult to implement.
Update… Bot is still there… ori bought out again repriced, and the prices keep getting hyper inflated. They’ll be $3 soon enough. This is awesome. Thank amazon team for kicking bots that we have been spending weeks trying to let you know about!
Time to start looking for something else to play since this game is pointless.

ORI ingots are now 5-6$ more than they were last week. Up 2-3 from week before.
Ore is being bought out in low amounts and sold higher in 10k stacks.
Still can’t farm shit.
Nothing about cheaters they literally refuse to ban. Despite reports coming from hundreds of players for well over a month.
After watching the dev video about the 9.7k banned accounts. I decided to log in today. To my surprise, EB nodes were untouched! Made it one whole loop before foopeepee of his own company TC Alts logged on right in front of me, and began his route again.
Guess we’ll bench the game for a few more weeks until Amazon throws an AFK gump into their game to solve this problem like they should have done months ago.
After this weekend, it will have been 2 months we’ve been reporting this bot that runs almost 24-7 and according to chat support has “hundreds” of reports on him.
