Loved the first day yesterday, except the hour + long wait to jump onto servers, which I’m sure will get worse as the game grows its userbase,. Of that already strong userbase, I can believe there was a STRONG African contingent, and that ping, while not a huge stumbling block for the most part, is unnecessary.

Amazon, I know you are building a huge headquarters in Cape Town South Africa, but that will take a while. Please could you look at hosting some servers with one of your accredited AWS partners in the mean time? I’m sure a migration won’t be that difficult for you down the line…

Yes Please. At least one South African server. Come on guys dont sell your game to us and then not give us a local sever.

Yes please, the ping is really high and we have trouble, shooting and playing PVP. By the time we have countered a moved it is too late.

Has anyone got a reply on this topic? Trying to pvp and do wars at 200ping is impossible!!

Is there any possibility we get at least 1 world to play on. Enjoying the game so much but hate how weird the lag makes certain things. Fire staff with lag looks ridiculous. Please could have some feed back on the South African server situation, anything at all would be appreciated. You would not be the first to deny us servers. It would simply be nice to know.
