Spare time spent on staring at inventory/storage for hours? NO!

Hi,

I really enjoy New World. I came back after a year long pause to find a better game. But one of the biggest gripes always was the lack of inventory/storage management.

I am working a full-time job and when I fire up NW in my spare time I don’t want to waste this time staring at the inventory for HOURS AND HOURS in order to find a new layout or to look for a needle in the perk haystack. Even not playing for a few days and then coming back, looking at my inventory it sometimes just makes me close the game again because I know I will have to spend another hour looking at the inventory to make sense of it.

(Storage space can grow when discovering new settlements). right now i think we all abuse the different settlements for inventory sorting workaround - this just can’t be it!

This is such an EXTREME WASTE OF TIME. I guarantee there are many people quitting because of this. Especially many working people. I don’t know how long I am willing to keep up with this if nothing changes soon.

I personally don’t want a unified storage until the loadout or filter system is put in game. I have a pretty organized system for my gear and resources that allows me to easily find and put gear and resources based on settlement. A unified storage would just require more searching through mass amounts of all gear types instead of a much smaller sets that I have organized by settlements. I personally don’t have any inventory frustrations since they allowed for remote storages and I cam up with my system.

Of course it is ONLY beneficial if integrated together with the filtering system.

This just can’t be it!! Also the irony isn’t lost on me that its made by amazon, a company associated with searching and finding a lot of products on their website.

we def need FOLDERS or TABS to categorizes items and mats for example Path Of Exile’s storage system. very nice n big on QoL
