I would like to tell you about my experiences using spear, as well as hear what you think of it
(as well as your own experience using a spear or fighting against a spear wielder).
I feel the light attack takes 2/3 the time of the heavy attack, and as such I usually default to using the heavy attack, because the heavy attack have ‘reach advantage’ and I like to think it does more damage (but I haven’t checked).
Blocking with the spear is very advantageous, though some times when I except it to block it doesn’t …I am not sure if this is a bug or I am missing something. You can’t block ranged attacks,
which is fine …would be a bit OP if you could, in my opinion.
EDIT: adding skills that could use a change.
Perforate: In my opinion it does too little damage per stab, especially when you compare it
to the bow version that does 125% per hit, perforate only does 70% per hit.
Bow first two shots only do 100% and at the 3rd shot is 125% and if you think someone is gonna let you hit them with all 3 keep dreaming, also you are stuck in place while shooting so a gap closer spec can ruin you. The spell is also easy as hell to interrupt

I think that’s pretty short sighted of you, but it’s your opinion and that’s okay.
