You were just unlucky and they are rare af. Idk what sense lowering your luck gear would make.
luck affect on rarity of drop, so maybe when open a supply cache there ill be more chance instead of get purple item? idk just a presumtion
Luck doesn’t affect caches. If you want to farm the vines, go cut some ironwood trees.(I think that’s the best source, if I’m not mixing something up right now)
Found like 5 from ebonscale… Don’t know… they don’t seem that rare, but uncommon.
From ebonscale? In database appears that only drop in reekwater, maybe not the same? Cause they are 3 types
I never farm in reekwater. Only ecr portions. I’ve only gotten one in an a full ECR run. I’ve found several in ebonscale non-ecr routed areas. Not a huge huge sample size, but yea.
I typically farm all of north ebonscale/day
According to one of the data miners, the drop rate on squirming vines in Reekwater is 0.15%, and it goes up to 0.16% with full luck. Drop Rate in Depths is 0.33%.
So yeah, not good odds.
