does anyone know when the DR’s kick in and how much they diminish? Getting very close to 60 and trying to figure out my end game stats. Thanks!
I’ve been looking for an answer on this as well.
From what our company has tested we found it useless to push past 300 stats because of stat returns. You are always better off when full 600 gs to do 300 / 200 split and because you can it’s always a good idea to do 300 main stat and 200 con. This allows you to take full advantage of the armor increase from 200 con making you a tanky boy while keeping your main stat strong.
But if your a mad man you can always pump up your secondary stat for more dps. We found that 300 str and 100 dex is much stronger than 400 str for weapons using both stats. But i wouldn’t recommend it because 200 con is too valuable over a little extra damage. Infact you kinda become very annoying to kill in general and it allows you to take alot less damage than most because of the perk given to 200 con.
Wait, I though 300 was the cap minus food? Is that not the case? You can go much higher than 300 on an attribute?
Ofcourse brother you can go as high as you want but pushing over 300 kicks in diminishing returns, i thought that was what your post was about.
Ok, nvm then. It’s the diminishing returns that make it not worth it. I remember now.
No, I’m not the OP. Thank you for answering my question though
God i got stuck on your picture lol
Just to add because i cannot stress this enough even with 300 main stat and 200 con. Always take the con food buff for your wars. While in Outpost rush always kill a mob and go grab the food buff as well.
These things give ya a huge advantage over those that don’t.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip. I had thought about changing to CON, but I usually don’t have a huge problem with melee, so I’ve always just went DEX.
Yeah but give it a bell when 600 gs and you have 500 stats to play with and you will notice something pretty crazy.
Have ya ever seen people in outpost rush that just won’t die?. It feels like your throwing everything you have and they can shake it off without a worry. It’s because of the 200 con + the 200 con perk along with the food buff and the armor to match all stacking up.
To give you an idea using the paladin build, i will sit in their base while half the team tries to kill me. Keeping alot of their team focused on one person allowing my team to steam roll and win.
I use a sword and board plus life staff with the stats and food to match. Although if my theory regarding the void gaunlet is correct then it will be sword and board plus void gaunlet to be even more of a (taunter build).
Yeah, makes sense. My GS isn’t that high. LOL
Yeah just something to think about, i updated my comment above to let ya know what i do in Outpost Rush and why it works well.
I’d recommend you check out some Weapon Attribute scaling on google. They have some neat ones where you can plug in stats and see the various difference between placement of stats based on DR of points invested.
thanks everyone. someone somewhere said DR after 250. Thats why im just confused I wish it was clearer! But if it was DR after 300 that would make alot more sense
There are plenty of videos that explain this…
thanks i guess
