Stationary musket and Trapper tree

Okay, we know that you want to make musket a long range stationary weapon, which makes me sad honestly, it happened to me that i played mid range with it, but the question is: then what happens to Trapper tree? What are your plans towards it? Will it suffer from stationary weapon identity or will this tree take some improvements for mid-close range combat?



I don’t really want to use bow, I loved the aesthetics of musket being a modern weapon, among swords and axes.
(Disclaimer: i mean, sure I can play bow, but i would lose the vibe of musketeer)

Don’t you see? It’s our fault for playing the game wrong; thankfully we have a creative director over here to not only tell us we’re wrong, but also to create a new forced game play loop, that literally everyone has said explicitly they don’t want, that we must use if we want to play his game… I mean, that’s the pinnacle of good user experience design right?
