Okay, so “browse skins” will not show the twitch drops. You need to click on a piece of existing armor and click “change skin” there all the options, cash shop, twitch drops, and promotions will show up even if they are locked. Apparently even if you browse skins in the tab inventory menu it will not display the Gold armor or the Purple weapons.
Make sure you right click on a piece of gear, and select the bottom option “Change skin”. Don’t use “Browse Skins” as it doesn’t show anything that isn’t cash shop related.
Hopefully this is helpful for the next person. I ended up listening to a beta tester who obviously didn’t know what they were doing so I had to check out youtube as well to get the correct process.
I assumed coming to the forums would have had more favorable results for this information.
I’ll keep this in mind as the game gets progressively more stable.

Oh crap. I thought that’s kinda obvious. Browse skins is show related button only 
Still, you also have to go throught the steps on website I linked earlier to make them unlock in game anyway.
Was still bugged this morning.
Fixed it by going into my Twitch settings and removed “Amazon” account from “Connections”.
Then I went to :
https://www.newworld.com/en-us/twitch-drops
And clicked on activate and boom drops were there.
The problem is resolved now but as expected steams response

I have done everything that was suggested and my drops are still locked… every time I load the game up and go to twitch settings it’s always disabled and if I enable it and restart the game it goes back to disabled…Don’t know what else to do
same here once i logged into the forum and linked my steam account i was able to login again.
i got mine to work on my phones browser couldnt use my pc at all.
same here. “chatted” with support and they just disconnected
This problem still exists, its extremely frustrating. Stuck in the infinite loop of linking steam account, doing it, then it not being linked and having to go through the same process over and over.

doesnt matter if you CAN, cause chat will just disconnect you. hopefully this gets fixed soon, but i doubt it since its almost been a mont
I’m having issues with the game not responding after 5 minutes online, so I decided to open a web ticket, but I can’t link my steam account, I’m stuck in a loop from steam web page back to amazon page asking me to link the accounts… now I can’t play the game, I can’t ask for support, I’m stuck in a never ending cycle of bugs.
I am still having the issue. I cant link Steam and Amazon no matter how I try.
