@NW_Mugsy this is the type of aftermath that happens when any company doesnt test critical end game changes on a PTR before throwing it to live and expecting it to work.
Taking 20 mins to break down the respawnable walls, bricking chests, mobs taking too long to kill endgame vs rewards, the list is endless. Had AGS tested this properly on PTR wouldn’t be in this pickle.
The only people that can destroy New World is the development team themselves. Stop rushing changes, test them first like a sane person would.
Lol only reason I am logging in right now is co of my frnd. He never played MMO before and i got him to buy the game… Sad this is the experience he got for his first MMO
I didn’t even get a choice in the matter. Their naff patch killed the game for me.
About 2 minutes after I log in I get kicked. so I changed my review to negative and just gave up.
I’ve been trying my best to ignore tthe constant problems, but not actually being able to play kinda left me no other altternative
Fallout 76 was near unplayable for 6 months… the idea that their release and 2 months post release was more successful than new world is beyond ridiculous
Last Saturday 240k peak players this saturday 190k peak players. If loosing 50k players in a week is zero effect than I don’t know what should happen to tell devs they making the game worse.
NW peaked at 400k players at the start of November. That was down over 50% from a peak of 913k at the end of September.
In the last 3 weeks it’s lost 50% of the people from the start of Nov.
Will be interesting to see how many follow through and give up the game this week. Even if AGS revert the apparent unintended nerf to elite chests they will be keeping the ridiculously buffed enemy HP pools in the end game zones despite the huge backlash to this.
I honestly wonder if it will be able to get to a 100k player peak in another months time.
Still reviewbombing doesnt change the fact that they will change it anyway in the next patches majority of the problems from now will be history again.
Still Content would be nice. except wars which i am addicted to anyways.
