I have said repeatedly in this thread that people should leave reviews based on how they feel. “Follow your heart”. My point has been to have a reality based understanding of the ramifications associated with destroying New World’s review scores.
that’s a red herring sure that happens, that’s not what’s at work here no matter how badly you wish it was, and its not the customers responsibility to consider the ramifications of large numbers of negative reviews, once again that’s on the developers.
I guess to try and distill my point into as a concise a summary as I can would be to caution people against the idea that trashing New Worlds review scores will cause the game to improve. It’s far more likely to simply result in the pulling of all funding for future development. That said, I do still feel that people should leave whatever reviews they want.
AGS, maybe it’s time to accept that while many things is this patch are good, there are also many things that range from bad to unacceptable for most of the player base. My server dropped from 1900+ player online week ends to 1600, and it keeps dropping.
If the people responsible for this mess gets fired I see it as an absolute win.
The doubling down on the issue got me from hopeful indifference, to out right joy in seeing this trash burn.
and I’m just going to repeat my already simple point, that’s not the customers problem, and while you may have convinced yourself otherwise repeatedly telling people that are posting those reviews that those reviews will kill the game is little more then trying to browbeat people into not leaving reviews that reflect their thoughts.

Well, keep in mind that the vast majority of those who are ok with the game didn’t came back to steam to change their comment or create one, only the ones that have a negative feeling did it, for the most part anyway.

I gave them a thumbs down yesterday. I mean they deleted all my harvesting gear among other things. I love this game, it’s the prefect game for me but I would rate it 6 out of 10. It’s really hard not to get disappointed every day due to all glitches and bugs.
On a good day on my server you would be happy with 100. Was a high pop server 3 weeks ago.
