The day/night spawns in Brimstone Sands have increased the ongoing desire to have some sort of Aeternum clock/sundial indicator for tracking time of day for myself and many of my fellow players.
From gleamite collection to the ‘time of day’ music sheet drops frustration, and now the day/night spawning mobs in Brimstone Sands the absence of this feature continues to be highlighted. And honestly, wouldn’t the Syndicate have developed sundial technology by now if they didn’t already have it when they first arrived? ![]()
So, pretty please can we have a little sundial?
That is an awesome idea, and honestly not sure why it hasn’t been implemented.
I coulda swore you could track time of day because the sun actually had a pattern of movement across the sky. Maybe i was just hallucinating from a marathon no life grind sesh at launch. But im certain it had like a NE to SW movement across the sky box.
My company mates were discussing this in game the other day (shortly before I posted) and we were spread across multiple zones, and the ‘sun in the sky’ location thing did not make sense as it was appearing in different parts of the sky in different zones. Some of the locations reported did not make sense map-wise, particularly comparing RW to BS, if I recall correctly.
Also, if Aeternum were spinning in some sort of rotation to cause day/night from sun, the daylight timing might be different per zone so… I just opted to come re-suggest an in-game time indicator on the UI… seemed easier. ![]()
ye system server time is about the best we have atm for figuring out day/night cycle. An actual sundial would be nice at this point
