And I say it again. The door is there!
it will be a blast seeing a post from you 3 or 4 months from now asking “where are the new players” “merge my server please, game is dying”

Nothing will happen . Because devs are doing their job well now
well, reading a few threads on forums i strongly disagree with “doing good”. But what ever helps you to cope
My word is not to you. Come to the forum. To people who have been playing the game for 15 days. I’ve been here since the beginning of the game. I saw everything. Everything. No one should cry anymore
Never seen so much hype, I think 3 months from now we will all love these changes. Thanks AGS dont listen to haters
Normal, AGS has solved the problem of the musket and GS. ![]()
I guess everyone just walked out that door?
I’ll Bump the post too
But i think ur wrong <3 in some aspects.
I think there is a difference to be made, between how people bring their problems to the forums and just crying for no reason. But first lets get other things out of the way.
In general sadly the forums will be a negative place… long gone are the days were forums will be mostly used for events and sharing awesome moments.
Its a problem generated by the negativity of the community and as a result makes Community Managers less likely to interact with the community… if almost every interaction you have with a community is terrible, as a company will you make the decision to stop. The CMs are people too and they have not been hired to be abused, but to manage a community… if they cannot “safely” interact with said community, they will most likely stop interacting and just do the bare minimum of their job, which kinda feels like the case now (for the most part). Nobody is going to go out of their way and go beyond what their job requires just to be abused by some raging 12 y/o… or even worse a raging adult that should know better.
But it’s also a problem generated by the Community Managers! They dont set up any events or stuff like that, they don’t actually build rappor with the community [some games do like BDO, they have community events montly, GMs log in-game everyday and talk with the community and so on] But most most games DO NOT, and neither does NW, they dont have events every month that say “show your New World related art for these rewards”, “show your New World related this or that for 10k marks” and stuff like that… there is nothing like that in NW (and as a matter of fact its almost exclusively done by Asian companies).
Censoring also plays an important role in this… people know amazon is trying to be as politically correct as possible, and if they talk about everyday stuff they will get slapped with that ban hammer, so things that people would interact and talk about (in other games), are not happening around NW, if you know you can be banned for expressing ur opinion u will keep ur mouth shut. This is both GOOD and BAD, it’s GOOD since politics shouldnt influence games, but it’s also BAD because it will stop community interaction. (Don’t missunderstand, its their game they make the rules, and we must follow them!)
Sometimes you see some awesome stuff on the forums : like the “Little game 2.0”, but all those awesome things are made by the community and community driven. So not the easiest things to keep up and/or garner attention without the company themselves endorcing them.
So when most things related to gaming are being taken away from NW social platforms… all that is left is criticism and negativity… and the situation with the forums is the result of that.
Back to the main point >>>CRITICISM<<< is and should be welcomed, its the way to improve the game, MMORPGs are very complex games, and community feedback is important in improving them, especially if the developers dont have their own vision that they want to enforce (and end up with a niche game). Tripple A developers usually want popular products, and to achieve that you will need community feedback (even if they don’t make a tripple A game, since no MMORPG with our character creator can be called tripple A).
But it should be done in a contructive way, and we have seen attempts from NW Staff to show people how they should post in various “how to post stuff” to no avail… most people will come to forums and the only way they interact with it is “hurr durr… i PvP player… hur durr … force people to PvP”, “hurr durr … i died to x skill… hurr durr… nerf nerf nerf” that kind of stuff like that… that you will mostly see. It is what it is… people are what they are… and companies are what they are.
Also keep in mind, PEOPLE THAT CRITICIZE (RESPECTFULLY) do so because they love the game, and want to see it improve, not because they want to fk off and play something else… if they didn’t care about the game they would just leave, they go out of their way to come to the forums and express themselves, because they care about the game.
This last bit is only true when talking about mentally stable individuals, you will have the average basement dwellers that stays on a forum of a game they hate and just generate more hate, since they have nothing better to do with their lives.
please stop voicing frustrations about a game you actually care about a lot

I couldnt find the door , so , i am still playing .
There are not too many doors in NW !
I’ve passed in and out of that door numerous times, and I’ll probably do so again. I enjoy this game, but no, I won’t stick around if I’m not enjoying it for X, Y, or Z reasons.
Most people don’t say why they left, they just leave. At least it’s better for there to be some constructive and polite feedback that might give the devs an idea of what’s working or what isn’t. Of course, you’re never going to please everyone, but there are objective issues and there are subjective issues. The former is observable and can’t be ignored. The latter is personal taste and therefore may never be satisfied.
actually, the devs made a video about the door.
Its not there. Its too hard to make.
WHAT??? have they figured out the door already?
. .
I sort of just realized there aren’t actually working doors in this game (that like, swing open).
Everything is “press and hold to interact and you are teleported to the other side”
For example, the OPR doors on forts.
Completely agree with the post. It’s probably not the online game that releases content the fastest, but with the content it has released, it has definitely completely returned the $40 investment paid to buy it.
You don’t pay monthly fees and everything you pay in the game is completely cosmetic and without obligations.
So, you have absolutely no right to complain about anything.
Personally, I don’t agree with many things, such as the balance in certain aspects, however, I’m not going to criticize the fact that they are delaying the patch, as I know how difficult it can be for a programmer.
The door is there and it opens towards you by pulling it, in case there was any doubt. And close it when you leave.
Someone did, or were they “talking nonsense” and found the door?
But if we take the door you wont have anybody to play with. Those numbers arent looking so great.
The problem is, the game is worth the $40. Leveling was actually fairly fun. But then you get to end-game and it is a directionless blob of boredom. So, some of us come here to post and see what the consensus is on any changes. Post some drama, get banned type of stuff. Still a perk of our $40 purchase.
The company I’m in has people leaving the game every day. I’m sad to see them go but I get it. The player base seems mostly focused on PvP, and the world is stale. Most of the people I play with dont care for PvP at all. Make it better all you want AGS, I still wont like PvP. There is little left to do in PvE. The best skins (my opinion) are on items you would never use. The ward system is not fun (another gear set? FML). The dungeons are a race to see who can get to the end the fastest so most of it gets skipped.
I like the combat. I want to see this game survive, do better and thrive, but I dont think AGS can pull it off. Did I get my monies worth. Yeah. I care enough to “complain” because there is little else I can do to help.
