1: If people craft weapons/armor with BIS they are not gonna sell it on TP, why? Cause they can put it up on TP but it would have a constant price, selling it in chat you will get more money for it and no taxes.
2: Its very different from server to server, i seen on someone servers selling BIS Jewelry for +100k and on some servers they are going for 50k that is a huge tax to pay if u put it on TP just for it not to sell
3: Lets say you make a BIS item thats worth around 50k if u put that up on TP the price will be 50k, but if u sell in chat some guy might buy it for 60k cause other people are interested also

Yes, I said no items are worth that. I did not say no one is selling things for much more than that. Does not matter who spends it. Do not like taxes? Factor them into your sale price, problem SOLVED.
Private Sales need to be taxed to cut down on WTS/WTB. Period. The private sales should not be tax exempt. Because it leads to this BS.
When they institute income taxes, I’ll be happy to add my sales total to my earned income. Until then, I will avoid paying the jacked yo yo tax companies excessive amounts of coin just to trade something.
Muting the sellers may make your game experience more enjoyable, though. Or select your chat channels so that you don’t see Global (or whatever channel people on your server use).
I do always post items in the trade post. Specially when i log off - why would i keep them sitting in the storage instead of making profit? Sure, my company owns Ebonscale so my taxes go towards the company anyway and we boosted the town from 7k income weekly to 150-200k weekly since we got it (almost fully upgraded crafting, we defend invasions and make profit).
Sure i will try to trade godroll items via WTS/WTB but it does not give me more profit or a higher chance to sell it - specially with all the chat bugs recently - every time you enter an instance - everything freakin breaks - invasion or war or dungeon and your chat is crippled.
In any MMO people trade very rare items via chat, been like that and will be like that. Do not like it? Remove the chat from the filter and miss out on gear that you might need.
If the game allow that it is ok to ask on chat to sell or to buy somethig. For some players it is posible to be bat that, but they can block anybody too… i don’t understand this upset

Trading in chat is the same thing. It is oppression. It is how covid started. It was responsible for jfk.
The day the ruling tyrants that squeeze posting fees out of goods that don’t even get to sell, spend their tax income on schools, hospitals, and social welfare in Aeternum, then you will have a point.

Remember the tyrants in this game are not democratically elected neither feel bound to any duty towards the people that “live” in those towns. It’s a moral duty to deny these despots any extra source of income.
I actively cook meals and craft potions in a camp instead of in town facilities, in order to skip the crafting revolutionary tax.
