In the new patch it is now no longer possible to SELL anything on the trading post if your local storage is full.
While I’m sure someone thinks this is a good idea… it is not. I hope that this is simply a consequence of this change which was unforeseen, which is why I am bringing it to your attention.
At the moment auctions which have ended have been dumped in my local storage and this has the potential to be orders of magnitude more weight than either the storage, or my inventory can hold.
So, unlike in the past, where I could simply relist new auctions for the items which fell off and thereby remove the burden on my storage I am now looking at (apparently) having to remove small portions of this weight into my inventory (already itself very close to full) and running to another town just to list them on the trading post. That is, assuming THAT town is not in a similar situation of overloaded storage in which case I would have to run even further.
With the TP now being global reach, but the stash being local only, the implementation of this new “requirement” to sell is, in my opinion, a mistake and should be reverted immediately. Thanks for taking the moment to read this.
