Storage QoL - Auto Filter Storages + Mass Salvage

I want to bring up a key feature that would dramatically help with QoL and storage.

What if when you went to your storage there were filters and a button on the top that said auto sort.

The auto sort button would automatically move for example all of your weaving/linen materials automatically to Windsward or wherever you set weaving things to deposit to.

All your ore/mining could auto deposit to Everfall.

It already is pretty easy to sort with the button, but how can we improve upon this?

What if all weapons that have key perks such as resilient/shirking fortification or freedom, automatically sorted to storage y etc.

All gear with angry earth ward could sort into Valor hold.

Then you could also have a mass salvage button so you can automatically salvage greens/blue items.

It would make it a lot easier to deal with certain things, even though how it is now ain’t half bad but it could be made more efficient.

Like we want to spend time playing the game. Not inventory management, where I have to spend like a good 15-20 minutes sorting gear and storage.

Auto filter! Are you crazy? I don’t trust them to implement that without any bugs. I’m not willing to lose stuff that took a year to accumulate.

If we have that mindset then no new QoL features will ever happen.

There is group finder and arenas. If we took that same logic, when this game had no instances we could live in fear and say that going into a dungeon instance or arena instance would make you lose your character forever.

Fearmongering is not going to make this game better.

You don’t have the possibility to lose anything in a group finder. Stop comparing apples to oranges.

I mean by that logic you run the risk of losing a piece of gear anytime you transfer something or salvage something or repair something.

Which by the way is a bug that has already happened. You could simply choose to not use the auto sort function. Or there could be an option to not auto sort certain BiS items of your choosing.
