First of all, as a person that works in software development industry, I am totally shocked that I have to bring this to AGS attention.
There are people stranded on dead servers, like me (doesn’t even matter we got 2 free transfers since servers die faster than that, lol).
In this situation, paying for a transfer is nothing else than cheap scam from the AGS team. I mean, what is what I would really pay here? All I want is to be able to play the game as a MMO, not almost as a single player.
I already created 2 customer support tickets in order to be laughed at with the copy/paste from the book of whatever that said “IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ALTER A DATABASE” rofl. Seriously? Some professionalism? Something? In order to at least try to appear you guys are doing anything to not let everyone leave the game?
Tbh, this should have been easily solved months ago (when servers started to die on a daily basis) with an easy automation that checks server population. Aka “if server X does not see Y concurrent players for Z days straight, provide everyone on the server a free transfer”.
Bottom line, I am shocked, as a customer, as a tech person, as anything.
With this kind of management, no wonder this is happening.

Regarding your concern I’m really sorry that you’re having this situation with the game experience, being stranded is not a pleasant situation, to help correct this we have gifted several transfer tokens in order to allow the players move as they desire, as well due to popular demand we have enabled as well the tokens selling to provide even more mobility to the players.
I apologize if this hasn’t been what you as a player expected and you were hoping for something different.
Sadly this is the only possibility we have have at the moment, on this case the tickets wont have any positive response as you might expect since they don’t review this kind of requests.

so blizzard have had paying transfer for years does that mean they are also scamming players?
AGS dosent have monthly sub to be able to play this game and the only income they get is from their shop and tbh in my eyes that is fair and by far from a scam.
It’s the server transfers that are killing servers to be honest. AGS doesn’t care, they are trying to rake in all the money they can before the game dies. Which is unfortunate, a few big tweaks with the Faction and War system and populating servers, then locking without transfers would’ve went a long way in the game sustaining. Then they could have just merged servers as people quit instead of causing this huge imbalance with the transfer system which literally destroys the servers.

Except I’m right since I’m on my 4th server and have seen first hand on 3 different servers now how server transfers killed the servers.
So joke is on you. You can move along now. Your probably one of those paid transfer server hopping farmers.
that isnt the server transfer that killed servers. that is because people want to play witth their friends and dont want to be stuck on low populated servers so you are not right but feel free to use a server transsfer sso that you are not stuck on a low populated server so jokes are on you 
and no i am nott one of those just because you are but noone is forcing you to use it but since you brought it up yourself then use a transfer since others did it aswell or just be stuck on a low populated server. it is all your choice.
Im with you. It looks like it takes the Devs months to acknowledge any issue, much less an issue that was as catastrophic as this single topic.
So how long do devs stare at an empty server and say “we gotta do something about that” before they actually do anything about it? Months…
THIS is why players exit stage left without care on a daily basis.
What are those players going to do? Run around aimlessly by themselves till they tire of even that. They can’t do expeditions since there are none to do them with.
