Stuck in dialogue, can't move

This happend to me many times now. could be in corelation to the known crafting station bug. Until now I was able to get out of the stuckness by either using /unstuck or going through Map/Tab/Escape keys.

Proof for this bug would be hard to record. Mostly you hear the dialogue sound without the dialogue window.

I strongly link this to current menu issues. Hopefully all of these Problems get solved with one change simultanously.

Bump: Encountered this a few times since the new patch. I do believe is directly connected to the menu issues with crafting and trading.

I’m experiencing this same issue.

  • What is your character name in New World: Quickblade
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Cedar Forest
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: After speaking to an NPC, the menu goes away and I can’t move. I am frozen without options. This seems to happen on my last option before accepting a quest.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can’t play anymore
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: waiting a couple of minutes seems to work, then the dialogue continues.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: speak to a quest-giving NPC, wait a couple seconds before clicking 1 or E to accept the quest, get frozen.
