Stuck on destiny unearthed main quest

  • What is your character name in New World: Radken
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: USEast / Valhalla
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I am unable to complete Destiny Unearthed at Yonas Alazar. I have the required heartgem in my inventory but Yonas’s quest ‘diamond’ won’t turn green when i get close. it remains grey

  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: unable to progress main story (i’m level 41 now)

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Just regular progression of main story - unable to abandon and when i try reset i just get auto placed back in same scenario.
  • When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone) since the brimstone update and Yonas’s location change

Been having same problem no one has helped me or fixed it yet. My issue is a little different where YONAS has disappeared from the map and my journal has no active quest even though I have the quest item in my inventory. I lost my main quest before AMRINE, but Im lvl 60 now (problem since Brimstone)

I have a same issue as AConcernedNewWorlder. I can see quest completed in my journal though where it tells me to talk to Yonas Alazar but he is not at his location and I can’t see a marker anywhere in the map for completing the quest making me unable to progress with main story.

I have had the same problem. Resetting the quest does not change

I managed to fix my quest by doing the Amrine dungeon and collecting the gem at the end. When I left Yonas spawned outside of the dungeon and my quest was fixed. I did restart my quest once I entered the dungeon but not sure if it matters or not.

Just go back to Amrine, you’ll find him there.

I have also lost Yonas. no marker, not showing up near/in Amrine. not up at the fort either.

I have had a player indicate that after they ran Amrine again, Yonas was available outside the Expedition. You might try this while we work on the fix.

Ok folks update time. After numerous head scratching and almost fixed I finally was able to complete the quest.

I had to go into Amrine with a group and i basically reset the quest in my journal before every boss fight and 3 times during the last boss fight. Once we killed the boss I was able to harvest a new heartgem and Yonas was outside the expedition waiting!!!1

I was also able to fix it by resetting the quest in the dungeon, I don’t think you need to do it after each boss but while you are in the dungeon should be sufficient.
