Stuck on the loading screen

After the 1.5.2 update I can’t get out of the loading screen.

My pc is above the requirements. I already checked files. I already reinstalled the game. Checked for driver updates. Everything is ok and still the game does not start.

Anyone can help me?

I’m sorry after the 1.5.2 patch New World. is giving you issues launching.

I really appreciate you’re communicating to us about this issue and also I want to thank you for sharing the troubleshooting you have done so far.

I just want to confirm if you already did the troubleshooting related with with the third party program EasyAntiCheat that is linked within New World:

  1. Open New World in your Steam Library.
  2. Right click on New World’s list title and then Go to Settings < Manage < Browse Local Files.
  3. Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
  4. Run as administrator EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file.
  5. Make sure in the drop-down within EasyAntiCheat Service Setup New World is the selected game.
  6. Press Repair Service.
  7. After this process verify Steam Integrity Check files:
  1. Restart your PC and re-launch New World.

Please let us know as soon as possible if after these troubleshooting the problem persist.

Now, we are going to verify the AGS Files that are linked within New World:

  1. Windows + R type in %APPDATA%
  2. Go to Local and Roaming (Both files will include an AGS file) and open them.
  3. Rename the AGS sub-folder ‘‘New World’’ to something different like ‘’_New World"
  4. This will refresh the cache files within New World and remove the error launching the game.
  5. Re-launch New World.

@Cactacea I too am having the same problem. The game keeps crashing on the loading screen. I followed all of these steps listed above and I am unable to fix it. I’ve also un-install re-installed the game. Please advise. Thank you!

same did everything listed, everything i have is up to date. was on this morning, went to sleep and now it stays stuck on initial loading screen.

I also have the same problem as of yesterday (11th June). Suggested steps didn’t help.

I’m so sorry you still are having issues launching New World. This issue is taking care by the devs right now, in the meantime, I also want to confirm if you already applied the troubleshooting related with the Internet Protocol Version 6 (tcp/ipv6):

  1. Open Windows settings.
  2. Go to your Network&Internet section.
  3. Click Change Adapter Settings.
  4. Right-click your connection (It can be either LAN or WIFI adapter) and go to Properties.
  5. Scroll down in the menu until you found the option Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
  6. Uncheck the box next to it and restart your computer.
  7. Re-launch New World.

some people from my company had the issue that they were stuck in the loading screen, they fixed it by reinstalling/updating graphic card drivers.

Disabling IPv6 didn’t solve it for me.

  • Character Name.
  • Region.
  • World / Server.

  • The previous troubleshooting you’ve already made.
