Sucatear ( scrap )

With the change of “scrap” from the “S” key to the “C” key I am unable to scrap since I use the key for another function, how do I return to scrap on the “S” key?

I can’t find the shortcut through the settings. please i need an urgent answer on this.

Please help

From what I understand, this is an intended change. This is so you can utilize the “running while opening your inventory” function.

Sorry , but I use the C key to use skills , so I need a " hot key " to rename the scrap .

Opening inventory was always “tab” it couldn’t be re-bound … so changing salvage to C from S doesn’t affect that, regardless if you’re running or not.

S is a movement key so if you press “s” while your inventory is opened, you’ll move instead of salvage.

Ah, well then there should definitely be the ability to rebind ALL keys, because some of us have rebound movement to something else (since you can rebind that one) OR make it so when you’re not moving you can salvage … or perhaps making the “force” of ctrl + S be overriding.

Definitely something worth suggesting to the team. I remember there was a small thing about that before. I’ll see if I can bump it again.

Well before there was a way you could edit the config files manually to change the bindings. That seems to have been removed. I just looked.

Because as it is, anyone who has C bound to anything else … can only salvage by clicking an item … letting the interact menu pop up and then clicking salvage … no more mass salvage. Its ridiculous.

Some feedback

To quick salvage, Ctrl is defaulted “walk”, using the new Ctrl+C makes your character walk while moving in inventory & salvaging.

Not fully utilizing the “running while opening your inventory” function.
