Instead of locking out the playerbase from playing mutations after 25 runs, let them continue to play, but limit their shards to the same as Regular expeditions. This way, someone can play with friends, or help out people that need a tank, dps, or healer to be able to run.
Right now, many times, groups sit around for a long time, waiting for what they need to start a mutation.
People are getting Frustrated, and just quitting, because they can’t get groups together for the expeditions, or they are locked out of mutations, because they hit the limit already.
Or instead of shards, reward them with something else, but locking out players, is just hurting the playerbase. Do you really need more reason for players to quit.
Also, how about allowing voice chat in the lobbies.
You can see the spec layout for players in the lobby, how about showing their ward, and elemental protection as well.
Its hard to fathom restrictions on the miniscule amount of end game content that players still find vaguely interesting… Your suggestion is brought up often and I can’t recall seeing a response.
There’s a few set pieces I’d like to farm and I’d even do portals but its exceedingly rare to see that pop up in recruitment chat. Its M10s or bust.
One can only imagine how new level 60s must feel trying to find groups for lower level mutes.
As it stands, mutations are the sole PvE end game content New World offers. How absurd is it that new players will find little opportunity to find groups and established players are restricted to mere hours per week of end game pve. Consider laz/gen lasting 25 minutes for a usual PUG. That’s around 10 hours of play time per week.
Players deserve an explanation on why mutes are limited. The shards? The loot? Many of us would have no issue if the shards got nerfed. Nerfing the loot would be on the nose considering how hard it is to obtain BiS gear for average players meanwhile top companies rake in obscene amounts of wealth. However, we average players would still rather see the loot nerfed so long as we could just play the damn game.
Let’s be frank. The steam charts speak volumes. New World needs to retain the players like me who still enjoy this game. But when we are restricted to mere hours a week of end game content then how would a rational person expect for those charts to trend upward?
