[Suggestion] Change Storage Transfer Restrictions

I would suggest allowing players to transfer their items via the Storage Transfer System regardless of the Settlement’s controlling faction.

HOWEVER.

  • Transferring between Settlements owned by your faction would be free.
  • Transferring outside of your faction would cost coin (formula would be what ever they use to calculate the fee right now)
  • At least 50% of the ‘transfer fee’ is given to the controlling Company’s coffer to pay for town upgrades

These changes should still place (and imo even more) importance on capturing zones. Especially if a zone’s settlement has very high-tier crafting stations; who wants to schlep a bunch of crafting materials if you can have them transported.

((Example: I was looking to make Silk. I had over 1.5k Silkweed. It was going to cost me over 1000 gold to transfer them from Brightwood to Weaver’s Fen. Imagine if I had and WF wasn’t owned by my faction…nearly 500 gold would have gone to the owning company.))

Absolutely. Being locked out storage transfer is a huge issue. Especially for factions that dont own a single territory. I have no problem paying the owning company. Also transferring to a house you own should also be allowed. You own the property and pay the taxes on it.
