For this topic, I would like to open this discussion (if not already been in discussion via NW Team) for future Quality of Life (QoL) changes in the upcoming months ahead.
While owning two (2) houses both fully equipped with all Basic Combat and Major Luck trophies, I’ve yet to know how much “extra” damage or luck I have while venturing in the world. Currently, players do not have this option viewable on their character in New World.
How do I know how much more damage per percentage from all the active buffs including food, potion(s) and trophy buffs I have against the creature types including Angry Earth, Ancients, Lost, Beasts and Corruption? A quick display from TAB into character inventory would be ideal.
When venturing in Level 60+ areas, how do I know how much Luck is required to loot the next loot table for those higher tier or more valuable items? Currently, there is not. I’m assuming, from what players advice is, with your Luck set, ensure you have all Luck perks in every gear slot including bags and jewelry to maximize your “luck” chances while looting elite chests in elite areas. But that still does not display your current “Luck” percentage overall anywhere on your character.
When you hover your mouse over the “Gear Score” area of your character when you TAB, all that is displayed is Physical and Elemental resistances percentages you have from your gear. That’s it. It’s a bit bland just viewing two "buffs’ per se on that small area. Again, a more updated stat sheet is required to display more character information.
Suggestively, within the same area on the characters inventory screen, additional display of current increased damage and overall luck percentages the player currently has. This way, you have a idea how much damage output you’re really conducting with all of your current or active buffs including those trophies from your house(s). This would also give the players even more a incentive to “min/max” their damage output against certain creatures. Additionally, this is also a nice “quick view” of how much overall Luck you have to further increasing your luck gear set so you can reach the next Luck loot table threshold without question or adding up in your head how much luck you actually have.
In conclusion, ideally, this QoL would change the way we view our characters and would even promote further improving our gameplay. Thank you for your time.
