[suggestion] Luck on armors

Before i start i hope that AGS read this and really think about it because we are the players of ur game and we know what issues we are facing in your game so please take it serious :slightly_smiling_face:

We have 5 armors each one 2.8% total of 14%

3 jewelry each one 2.8%

For the trophies each major 1.5% so three majors 4.5%

Why you don’t remove the armors luck and put them on trophies + jewelry :slightly_smiling_face: i am sure 100% no one like to wear the luck gear all the time but u force us to wear it and not enjoy our main build only because of the luck :slightly_smiling_face:

If we make some calculations

Armors luck now is 14%, if we take 6.6% and put them on jewelry, each jewelry will be 5% luck in max gs

Now we have 7.4% left from armors luck

For trophies, minor should give you 1%, basic should give you 2% and for the major will be 4%

From what i see this is the best way to distribute the luck

I welcome the idea bro. One problem I see is what is your suggestion for existing item. Because people might have bought all these without money and now it’s not fair to remove them.

No one will loss their luck
If u have jewelry 2.8% if they implement this idea they should change the luck % in you 2.8% jewelry to 5%, give you more % in your luck trophies and remove your luck from your armors

For some expensive armors like voidbent set trust me if the devs think about this thing they will make a good compensation for everyone most of the ppl use voidbent they can change it with a good perk

For me i don’t care if they remove luck perk from my armors if they implement this idea and ofc i’ll be frustrated that i loss gold on it but on the other hand it’ll improve the game and make it better and more enjoyable :slightly_smiling_face:

Jewelry should be treated the same way as armor. Move all luck to trophies and the game will be 100x better.

I welcome a change in how luck is obtained as well.
I hate that i have to wear my luck set while doing PvE content instead of gear that actually make my character more stronger. i feel forced to play a certain way for each content.

Ofcource what we talking is limited to loot luck, gathring luck is in a good place imo.

I see two ways to do this and both ways are better than what we currently have:

  1. What OP described.

  2. Remove all luck on Gear, weapons and accessories and Implement a new item “Charm Of Suspended Azoth” :smile: :

There is 5 tier of “Charm Of Suspended Azoth” which in total they should give luck % equal to what the max luck is now.

trust you that the devs will replace it with a good perk? Are you delusional? :stuck_out_tongue: remember how they just randomly nerfed everyones EPIC shields into the ground one day? Or how the double luck rings that were so great just got 1 of the luck perks poofed? AGS would remove the luck perk, if they actually implemented your idea, and then not compensate the player base whatsoever.

Remember when we were all getting gold compensations for the AH downtime? Where everyone got 100-400k gold by mistake? They then reverted the servers…but they never went on with the compensation, they just ignored it and hoped nobody would comment on it…AGS are very sneaky developers, and almost never take responsibility for their product they’ve sold us. Still countless bugs in the game…all while they keep pushing out “content” nobody really wants anyway! I haven’t been able to place furniture (trophies, storage or anything) in my house for 3 months (it’s a completely empty house) and NOTHING has been done to fix this, nor has it even been addressed by anybody at AGS even though multiple posts have been made about it.

AGS are snakes.

You select perks and rng roll gear the same way you would for pvp.Its exactly the same thing as rolling resilient+skill perks for pvp gear.

There is BIS gear for pve and pvp…Crazy concept right?

i don’t see the problem here? We just need ags to implement a loadout feature to quick swap gear and im sure they are aware of that.

i think the luck on armors is nice to have at lower levels when you dont have houses/trophies… But what i WOULD like is one or the other… like if you had all 3 major trophies, your luck would be capped and u wouldn’t need to wear gear… or if you had all armor/jewlery with max luck, you wouldnt need trophies or a combo of the two… I would love to not have to carry specific mining gear, but just str gear etc.

Why have luck on jewelry? I dont understand what that would fix? I have 2 sets of legendary luck gear and I wouldnt mind them removing luck from gear and jewelry even if I lose value of my items just cuz of the simple fact that I dont want to bother equipping it or carrying it with me everywhere. I suggest.

  1. Remove all the luck completely from gear and jewelry.
  2. Leave luck as is from bags and trophy.
    or
    Have all gear and jewelry additionally have luck perk on it not interfering with other perks just as an additional perk and it could scale the same way its right now (higher GS = higher Luck%)

So we can all happily wear our properly optimized gear not worrying about needing 20 gear sets especially with the new mutated dungeon sets you will need.

Why we keep luck on jewelries because we have a high luck percentage on armors total of 14%, if you want to remove the luck from jewelries it’ll be total of 22.4% if they gonna distribute all of this luck only on loot luck trophies, the prices for the majors will go over 300k for 3 majors and if this happened ppl will quit, not everyone can get that much coins and everyone want some luck you got the trophies before the changes so if they change it ppl will get frustrated, “you remember when they change the crafting skills XP? Too many ppl quit the game”, not everyone has luck trophies so at least we put some luck on jewelries and some on the bags and high % on the trophies and no luck on armors

I don’t know i just feel that this is the best way to make everyone happy if u want to get luck you can get it from bags, trophies, jewelries everyone can get at least 1 of them from these choices

Like I said elsewhere, I think Luck should either be removed entirely, or placed in a new Charm slot where you have a scaling charm (for example if someone had Luck trophies prior to the charm, these trophies would now be gone and the charm has the extra Luck. Someone who did not have the trophies has a lower Luck on his Charm and can farm/purchase what used to be Luck trophies but are now a one use item that permanently boosts your charm up to three times).

I would rather see Luck gone, but given the investment people have put in, a Charm seems the simplest solution for keep Luck out of the way of proper gearing while also preventing people’s efforts from being wasted and giving something people can work on without interfering with builds

I am agreeing on this.

We have:

  • armor set for craft, one per job
  • pvp gear
  • competitive pve gear
  • luck gear

What a nightmare, sure people can merge pve competitive + luck gear but for example I am farming pve with the christmass weapon luck bonus … leaving my 600 gear weapon out because of this dummy percentage that is missing.

Increase droprates of items and have a little extra if u want but not must have

Just be strong and do not wear luck gear.

Luck belongs in trophies and consumables only.
At most you can have them on bags. Everything else makes no sense
