Servers’ maintenance are indeed a must, but is there a possibility for maintaining different regions in different times? Such as scheduling EU and Asia in appropriate times that does not conflict with their prime times, for EU it can preferably be sometime like 3 AM UTC where people won’t even notice. And same thing for each and every region.
Also, I’m thinking to myself here, but let’s say you started with US servers and maintained them successfully, can you apply the same problem solving strategies to other regions or do you need to start maintaining them in a special way?
What I’m trying to mean is that, solutions to problems arisen while maintaining one region can be applied in different regions, right? Which would mean initial maintenance will probably be longer than other regions but it facilitates the process, so there is no reason to bring all regions down at the same times as we see EU is still down while others are running.
