I’ve participated in a lot of Invasions and it’s still rather difficult to win one. And for each loss, the town loses approximately 3 upgrades. With the higher-level upgrades, it can cost quite a significant amount of gold and time to level them back up again. For towns that aren’t quite busy, this can be a devastating loss giving them no chance to maintain the number of upgrades they have.
I was thinking while playing, it would be cool if the number of waves scaled with the general level of the upgrades of the town. This would give lower-level towns a chance to catch up on upgrades, build more defenses, etc, and might make for a generally more enjoyable invasion giving more opportunities to win.
It would also make sense from the enemy side as well. They would likely have some sort of limited invasion force, so they would need to choose and prioritize which towns get the brunt of their attack, meaning bigger more upgraded towns would get larger and harder battles.
You haven’t saw the invasions don’t you? I didn’t partake but I know there is barley anyone that can beat them atm, even more with AGS nerfing path.
I’d like the idea of having the waves gets stronger after the town does, at frist upgrates the waves can be a problem yes, but as the town gets stronger, the corruption does too.
i am posting in a thread right now where a company has completed the invasions. i was in every invasion i could get into when i was still regularly playing. yeah, they are difficult. figure out how to beat them. others have
