Hi! I have an idea about how to get rid of the constant gear swapping issue in expeditions. Let just say sorry for my poor spelling before I begin. I think you should change the elemental resistances to an overall character sub stat. Our characters in New world are constantly battling all enemy types and growing stronger via storyline and mythic expeditions. Our characters in Aeternum could find an item or thing in the storyline that allows us to absorb the elemental powers/gain resistances similar to umbral shards. Except we gain for example angry earth energy or lost energy etc every time we complete an expedition with that mob type. If there is more corruption mobs and the boss is corrupted, but you also have a small amount of Ancient mobs. Your character would then absorb more corruption than ancient energy and become more resistant to corrupted and ancient mobs via the gained energy. You could then use the item you obtained via story line to apply the energy to the character. Similar to umbral shards the lower level resistance gains will cost less energy and higher level would cost more. In pvp like arenas/war to even the playing field you could get a set amount to energy points and spend the points as you see fit to increase any resistance level until the points are spent.
