I actually like the idea of crafting a vial of suspended Azoth. Maybe not 1 on 1. Having 60 azoth and water to craft a vial of 50 azoth would be good too. You can make something to use later or sell, but you lose some of it in the process of making.

I could even think of a “greater vial of suspended Azoth”, which is craftable at 200 arcana, gives you 200 azoth on use and costs you 300 azoth + water (or a quintessence) to make.
