Suspended animation over 250+ Strength - Slow Animation - Unable to Dodge timely

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Slow animation after performing a skill with 250+ Strength.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: BUG!

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Died several times! Asked everyone about it and they mentioned that above 250+ strength, there is a bug which stops you from being able to animation cancel after a skill.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No. The only solution was to respec or stop using strength stat on my character.

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
    Either using a great sword or hammer, use an ability and try to dodge by pressing space.

First try with 250+ str – you will not be able to dodge, the character will stay suspended in animation for a solid 1-2s
Now try with <250 str – you will be able to dodge like normal, the character can animation cancel

It’s even worse with SNS and 300 STR. You literally stand still after leap for more than a second, can’t move the character or perform any other actions, remaining vulnerable. So, if you miss the leap, you are most likely dead in PVP and heavily damaged in the open world.

And that’s no one mentions that hatchet that is supposed to be fast demolishing berserk style has the same issues at high STR (animation exit time is lower, but it is still extremely uncomfortable to play). Also, throw skills animation time is just a joke. 1.5 seconds to throw a hatchet looks like a slow-motion compared to the overall fast hatchet impression.

bump. please fix this AGS. Its the same for all animations when above 250 Strength. Leaping Strike, Charge, Reap, Execute… etc etc etc.
