I get that AGS needs to get a handle on the economy. I even understand the extreme measure of suspending trade right now.
But why did they leave TAXATION in place when we can’t trade to make money?
If they are going to shut off our income, they should also shut off our “game” expenses, too.
Agree taxes should be put on hold until the trading post is open. If you can’t sell stuff, it is that much harder to pay for stuff. Likewise town upkeep costs should be put on hold as well for the governing companies.

So what you aren’t realizing is they more then likely did not already have a system in place to stop people from trading, using the TP, sending gold, etc. This was done quickly to stop the duping. They more then likely also do not have the system to turn off the other things. They don’t just have a button to press and say hey here it is. It is probably more time efficient to keep it going then trying to turn it off.
Yep, it’s extremely stupid that our main method of making gold has been taken away, yet are still expected to pay taxes. I guess we’re supposed to do town board missions for 7-8 gold each 24/7.
Maybe we’ll get an in-game stimulus check after all this BS.
