Please make abilities take priority in the queue. Pressing ‘SWAP ACTIVE WEAPON’ only takes one extra input to lock your character into multiple swap animations. It’s natural to “spam” keys in difficult encounters. The issue is more prevalent when you’re stuck in CC due to weapon swaps being unresponsive because of an unrelated bug.

SWAP ACTIVE WEAPON BUG

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:

Tap ‘SWAP ACTIVE WEAPON’ keybind twice, which is common in action combat.
When swap action responds to input, press the ability you want when the weapon has swapped.
The input for the ability you’re trying to use from the weapon swap is ignored, and takes you back to the first weapon using that skill instead.

imagine if the devs gave a damn about this issue, it was reported day 1 of PTR a month ago.

did they read it? no, or they did and wiped their ass with the paper.

They can’t be bothered to modify the code properly and double check to make sure it works. Good luck getting them to actually fix this in a timely manner

Are you sure ‘swap active weapon’ keybind was reported? I couldn’t see anything in bug reports.

This severely impacts my ability to play competitively atm my weapon swap and ability queues feel like they have a mind of their own and it gets me killed all the time.

you would have to go all the way back to day 1 of the PTR for the previous patch which is over a month ago.

It really doesnt matter though, they claimed they would fix weapon swap bug and instead they introduced a literal unplayable version of the game.

I’m suprised people aren’t bleeding out the forums at this point. Maybe all thats left are the casual players?

I just wanted to note that I was able to repeatedly press ‘SWAP ACTIVE WEAPON’ keybind and then use an ability on swap without issue, prior to Feb patch. I’ve been communicating with other players in-game who use this key and they are feeling the same issues. It is extremely jarring that you can “spam” all your other keybinds except this one. Would appreciate some dev love on this.
