verifying game files sadly does not resolve this quest issue 
January update? o it will be arriving on the next month big bugs update
The upcoming Bugfixes in february? They should fix this Bug first before releasing mutations.
Devs can you please fix this a make this up to us we need huge payout for this come on man been a month then your going to tell me what now I can grind out my rank that I should have already and give the dungeon orbs I missed out on making please y’all make this right man waiting way to long

At faction rep cap but cannot accept the quest. I switched back to original faction.
Will this be fixed with next patch ? We need someone’s confirmation, this bug has been in game for a month now, a lot of people including me are getting penalized by it and personally I don’t think i’ll continue playing the game since i can’t craft expedition keys, and next update is ALL about expeditions.
We need an official answer.

@Kay Any update when it will be fixed? New patch is coming with expedition mutations where you will need orbs. Many of us are blocked here.

When I reported the Issue through the
Syed [8:52:25 AM] : Unfortunately there’s no troubleshooting steps regarding this as the devs are already working on it 
Syed [8:52:35 AM] : However it is being take care of for now do not worry
Why ask us to report this only to be told you have no solution and will do nothing about it.

WHY ?? How does a bug take more than a month to be fixed ? What is the problem exactly ? Is the dev team that unaware that this is game breaking and people want to leave because of it ? Or is it just that they don’t know how to fix it at the current state, that it’s soooo messed up that they act like it didn’t exist ? What a joke.

any update on this ? It is frustrating that I really want to invest more into this game and reach top on my server but cannot do it because I am blocked in my faction quests …
I know that nobody really cares, but I can’t express with enough clarity how disappointed I am that this issue has remained unresolved for so long. I understand that bugs happen, but this is a game breaking bug where I and all of the people I routinely play with have been unable to craft orbs for a month.
We have been left with the only option of buying orb spots, and while at one point you could break even (or even make money) after spending 2-2.5k for a single spot, my server is so dead that there is no one to sell things to.
I have been hemorrhaging money for a month now to have some content in this game, all while defending the game to friends who have since left. Mutations are around the corner, and even if the bug is fixed with that patch, I will still have the annoying faction grind ahead of me. A grind I could have spaced out over the last month.
I think this may be the straw that broke the camel’s back. For a game that I have logged into every day since release, this weekend was the first time I stepped away and I am unsure what could be done to pull me back in.

Still not fixed , c’mon now!!! if this was a bug that affected store item purchasing it would have been fixed pronto!
i’m personally waiting for tonights patchnotes, if this one is not fixed I don’t think i’m ever coming back to this game. Good luck to everyone.

Does" * We fixed an issue that was causing players to lose progress when switching back to a Faction they previously had been a part of. Now, when players switch back to a Faction they will retain their Faction Rank Reputation as well as the balance of their Faction Tokens. Unfortunately, we can not restore players to their previous state for players who switched back to a Faction they were are a part of prior to this update." mean we are fixed but have to level the faction rep again or that it has not been fixed yet

Same question. This patch note says that it is fixed for those people who will be switching after this patch. But what about those of us who have already switched?
Does this mean a) our faction rep is going to be zeroed out and we have to start from scratch again and will be able to progress to max rank? or b) we are still going to still be stuck @ level 1 and can’t level beyond?
I’ll take option a, but if is answer b then this is not acceptable. We are going to be blocked from buying orbs. If it’s answer b then another option needs to be considered. i.e. faction lock timers should be reset so we can transfer to another faction, or orbs and orb parts need to be purchasable at level 1.

Option A. We will be able to complete the quests starting back from rank 1. Only those who switch factions after the update will be automatically given rank 5.
just to be aware that this is “top priority”. Isn’t this just another lie ? can you confirm if this is going to be fixed or not with todays patch? since patch notes doesn’t say anything about this
