Revert the cowering punishment change on SNS, keep all the other changes. Iterative changes guys… PTR SnS is dead on arrival.

Still no response rip, terrible moderators not doing their job.

They literally said in the Dev Video, “we’re looking at heavy armor and tanks.”

Relax for a bit. lol

Gimmie timestamp of this joke or I won’t believe they, in all 10 hours of beating around the bush, said that.

47:30 of Developer video #8 is when they start talking about buffing heavy armor and how light armor is overtuned.

So, they did not said “we’re looking at heavy armor and tanks”. Instead, to not quote 2 minutes of beating around the bush, they said “Light is OP, heavy armor sucks in PvP because of lack of mobility, but it doesn’t suck at PvE, blocking sucks and dodging is meta”. Not even a single “tank” word was said. Thanks for false information.

Meh, true. I took it as buff tanks because Heavy Armor and Blocking being buffed means tanks in PvP are getting a buff and indirectly means PvE tanks are getting buffed.

Technically, yes. But it will be a indirect buff, because everyone in heavy armor and everyone using block will benefit from this.

Tanks need a direct buff, like, for example, a perk on 300 endurance (or in SnS tree) granting you 5 or 10 HP point more for every endurance point, allowing for longer health tanking.

Tank right now is a pushover used only to buy time for DPS’s to do damage.

Honestly, I think that’s a great start.

Well, it’s certainly something for a start, that’s for sure. But if that’s all then I, as tank main, am not so happy about it. Why should I? A rather core class being not even a shadow of itself, not fun to play, directly and indirectly nerfed many times and feedback about it ignored for months might get but a few indirect buffs?
There is a long way before AGS in order to make a tank what it should have been… since the launch.

Check out this thread. There’s a proposition for a unique change to heavy armor.

Is this good enough for you mastuh?

Agora acharam um jeito de tank não reclamar. Se não loga , nao tem do que reclamar.

I may be wrong but it feels you are contradicting yourself a bit. Regardless if they increase the HP for tanks or not, they will still be a pushover used to buy time for DPS player to…DPS

I would rather give tanks better cc abilities, but that’s going to be hard to balance.

On a second thought, I’ll accept any bone they throw me at this point

You’re not wrong. A single buff of increased health would certainly not help much by itself and tank would be still but a pushover, just pushed around a bit longer. But it was more a example of direct buff for the sake of example than example of how to quickly buff-fix tank class to make it playable-ish.

But as for what we would want for tanks to recive… well, there’s a whole topic about it, right?

I, personally, would like to have grit on block on 300 endurance, a bit more armor and health to distinguish tanks from heavy bruisers and… a actually working aggro.

again no change and no buff for this class YEAhhhhhh THX AGS
